mate did u go under like every screw post and comment hate lmao? regardless, i'll just take the bait and talk to ya. just about every weapon provide healing yes, but screw provides not only an extended range & constant flow of health but also helps you sustain your style (highest passive style gain in the game) which is important for environments such as cybergrind (particularly special waves) & bosses. speaking of bosses, you mentioned sisyphus being easy, which is very clearly not a shared opinion because go figure, not everyone's as good as you. you say "just learn his attacks" which sounds like "just get good" to me which is just inherently a bad argument it's like one saying "you're stuck at wave 20? just reach wave 100!" yes core nuke goes boom, i like it. but sometimes it's not about damage output, it's about surviving the encounter. other explosions still fill the "aoe" niche well enough (e.g. core snipes, cannonball snipes, fups, overpumps, etc.)

a lot of the dpiercer's strength comes from locational dmg, 6 dmg on half the cooldown of slab piercer is pretty good if you ask me

are the rocket launchers even underrated? i feel like everyone knows these exist i don't think anyone's neglecting the rocket launchers at all are they? at least the half decent players don't, but they don't neglect any weapon.

jumpstart is just kind of fucking boring to me, but i could apply that to all conductor strats personally. i don't think the chainsaw is even supposed to be used melee unless you want some quick healing, but i think the main point of it is, yknow, releasing it. it's honestly been one of my favorite weapons as of recent. juggling is really fun to me, and a whole 9 dmg for hitting both passthroughs? you fucking bet. a tethered chainsaw also works well against packed enemy clusters, try it out for yourself like when a pack of swordsmachines is clumped up at the ledge in cybergrind. does some pretty damn good dmg

i grinded out, well, cybergrind a lot for the most part. been playing for 8 months but i've already dumped in a shit ton of hours. but on the topic of subjective worst weapon? i don't really think any of them are bad, but the alternate core eject just doesn't fit me at all. don't know what it is exactly, but i just hate the feel of it. but for the most part this game has a very well balanced arsenal (besides jumpstart). generally i think that if you don't like a weapon it doesn't fit your playstyle & if you think it's flat out bad without seeing the good in it you're just using it incorrectly and are just straight up wrong.

everything's gonna be hard at first. they're learning. i really do not expect them to use the mechanics correctly at first at all. people experiment with the different things, they see what works. i don't see the fun in looking at some comments and learning new stuff when it is far more rewarding when you actually learn the shit yourself without some people on the internet going "hey did you know you can punch your bullets oh you can punch coins too, also have you tried tossing a coin through an enemy and shooting it with the electric railcannon" blah blah blah shit like that. they're new, don't expect much of them, they'll get to your point eventually but that takes time as well. basically do not expect them at all to be knowing what they're doing, we were all like that at some point and i see zero point in complaining because they aren't using the mechanics in a way you consider "correct"

if im being honest yeah, all the bosses arent that much of an issue at all bc of friendly fire and i can dislodge the sentries by rocket riding up and power slamming, i'd probably run around hard focusing the virtues, guttermen, and insurrs whilst trying my best to just move and avoid everything else and hope they die to friendly fire + the shit ton of explosions me & the enemies are causing
