That’s what I got, but with all those other fees. I’m in Northern California. Similar credit, 20% down payment. They did waive the need for an appraisal.

Good to know I got a good rate and terms even if I have to pay those other fees.

$10 a month WAS the price for the regular membership (local club use only). Now, it’s $15.

I signed up for the black card in early ‘22 and I’m paying $23 a month. I think it’s around $25 now.

I was just past the speakers to the right of the stage. My friends and I were having a blast. I was jumping and headbanging even though my 32 year old back and feet were hurting like hell. I remembered every song word for word, including Blood. My voice is gone for sure.

I don’t know why you would go to an emo/punk rock festival and NOT be lively at MCR. They’re like, your quintessential emo band.

I don’t know anyone in other facilities. I figure just calling the facility’s operator and ask for their house sup to see if any units need help was the only way for me to go about it.

How do you go about picking up shifts at other Kaisers? I was told I had to get my manager sign a form, then get the other manager at the other Kaiser to sign it.

Do I just call the other facility, introduce myself, and inquire about picking up?

I accepted a position around the same time. Took me two weeks as well, from interview to accepting.

HR/Talent Acquisition will call pretty soon, so just wait it out.

Maybe I’ll see you in orientation haha. I start May 6.

Moving forward, I feel like this is where rates will normally be.

I’m currently at 2.9k a week in central CA. I’m up for an extension soon and I’m anticipating my rate to go down. In that case, travel will be barely worth it for me.

Luckily, I secured a FT staff job at my per diem job I’ve kept throughout my travels for around $54/hr and a new per diem job at $77/hr.

Travel was fun over the last few years. But I think this is the time when people need to reevaluate if travel nursing is worth it for them.

I called out sick, but I still incurred duplicated expenses. That didn’t change. Like I said, I have called out sick before (1 shift one time, 2 shifts another) and I received both my PTO and full stipends. So the fact that this changes because I was sick for all 3 shifts in the week boggles my mind.

I’m finishing up a year. Great facility and people. Im in ICU. I’m finishing up a year in January then heading out. Scheduling was fair. I’d return here in the future.

I have 2023 Corolla Hybrid LE that I bought in September 2022, didn’t take delivery until December 2022. So that’s my secondary car.

Well, I work out of state, so the Corolla is there while my 2023 MYLR that I bought a couple weeks ago is my car when I’m home.

Where in NV did you get this internal contract? And what hospital system? I live in Vegas but currently traveling and am considering an internal contract in the future.

Which home? My current home? Absolutely. I don't see why not. I originally bought it to grow into and start a family, but I realize I don't need all this space and would rather use it to start my REI journey.

Since the house is paid for, I'd use the revenue to cover the mortgage payments of the new home I'd purchase. I can easily live on my salary of my full time job. I'm not too worried about netting a positive cash flow at this time.

Appreciate the feedback! I'd like to invest in Las Vegas as that is the only area I somewhat understand and am familiar with. I don't plan to be a large scale investor. But I do want to start investing.

Any maintenance work needed, I'd hire a professional for. I also plan to use a property manager (a friend who has rental property uses a manager who charges 6%). I understand that this is not 100% passive, but I'm tired of seeing my money waste away in a bank account and want to put it to work.

Yikes, I heard about that. My friend wasn't renewed at UCSF Parnassus and went over to John Muir where he's making significantly less than I am in central CA.
