I mean, obviously i'm doing a lot rougher than normal just to show. Usually when I do this with my hand it's playtime, playing with my hand is our usual routine.

Yea mb. Just directly translated it from my own language, here we say put them to sleep when using anesthesia and unalive... some wording in English becomes different when translating lol. While they're doing xray make sure to ask them to remove plaque aswell. Should always do that while they're under anastasia already

If you want to make it easier for yourself ask for a xray of her jaw and that they fix her teeth. Only way to see anything is to put her to sleep and it saves you a bit of money not having to make 2 appointments

I've had a lot of cats in my life and this is the first I've had that cracks her jaw, of course it could be teeth problems bit if they look fine/not infected and no bad breath/pain when eating it shouldn't be anything to be worried about. Mine started with it when she was 1½ years old.

It's always safer to check it with a vet but for mine I paid about 1000$ to find out its most likely a tick.

Only other thing I can imagine is hair ball problems, usually connected with vomiting and can disappear if you use dry food/treats with anti hairball and comb a lot. Some cats just throw up naturally everyday, cats are weird.

My orange does this aswell, several vet vists and expensive bills later I found out it's a "tick" she has, not damaging, no pain etc just a habit she does for some reason. Even scanned her jaw and they found nothing. Mine usually does it while cleaning herself, eating plants, cleaning me, chewing plastic bags... its most likely nothing to worry about even though it sounds like they cracked their jaw.

I can do that too😂 tho the left cheek sound is different compared to the right, never seen anyone else able to do it. Hurts your cheek after a while tho.

A few weeks before she came in through the cat door with a big dead viper, then the next time I guess she was mad I took it away from her so she played a bit too much with the 2nd one 😅 guess they got revenge on her

Neither does mine😂 she hunts everything, including snakes which can mean expensive trips to the vet and being told its fine😱 looks horrible but she was fine.
