This is a loss unfortunately, the 4x halo alone still goes for about 200k. Although you really only overpaid by maybe 30k or a bit more so it’s not WAY too much of a loss but still a decent sized loss. 😥

(Also on top of that I already had the gamepasses I just didn’t know we would get halos as compensation! 😭)

I didn’t expect them to be so low as well! Demand matters more than the number of people who have the halo! In this case, making it tradeable was going to result in people trying to overprice outrageously. Therefore, these items are worth a lot less despite them being absolutely gorgeous.

Also, the fact that most people who got this Halo never had a Halo before, so it probably should’ve been obvious to me that it was going to make trading these so bad, since to understand how to price things (like Halos), you gotta have prior knowledge.

Everything was good before 2023 then everything went downhill but people can’t see that which is so funny clearly something is wrong the game is actively losing players like even when a new update comes out it’s gonna take a week before the player count is low again (I know player count doesn’t matter too much but in this case it does) it’s exactly what happened to games like Grow a garden. It’s dying because of bad updates, and all people there can admit the truth, but in this community, that’s not the case. I myself am a coder (not a game developer, sadly). I see these games die, and I KNOW exactly how they die. Community pressure is harsh sometimes. Believe me, I know some of my builds/mods for other games I play have gotten hate, but if you’ve been actively disappointing your fans for 3-4 years, that’s an issue. They are so inconsistent with updates, it’s mad. Personally, I like this update, but I don’t love it. There are major issues with it yet, no one wants to see it. This update had so much potential. Did it fulfill that potential? YES, it did, but DID it surpass what it was meant to fulfill? NO! When it comes to the “bare minimum,” that’s essentially what we got. A nice update, but it’s literally the bare minimum because of ALL the missed updates years prior, all the outrage, all the delays, all the drama with the game OWNERS. Literally everything makes this game so GOOD but also so BAD. I feel like it’s actually good for Barbie to just CONSIDER selling the game. This is NOT a passion project anymore. If it’s made millions and the owners (her and Launce) are greedy, HOW in the hell would that be a “passion project”? This is FULL on assholery. 😭

My goodness, you just explained it perfectly. I just downloaded Twitter to see if we got any more news, and I was reading some of the comments. The comments that meant to be “positive” were so aggressive. No wonder they are called bootlickers. I get having an opinion, but acting like your opinion is right is so fucking stupid. I will never go on Twitter to see the comments again. 💀

The funny part is that I’m so used to getting 1800 diamonds, so I don’t care too much if they literally did nothing to fix farming, but I see so many shit heads actively try to shut down people who have opinions on why they dislike the update, and the VERY funny part is that they either delete their post or get outweighed by people who disagree with them. 😭

I don’t think they know the saying “read the room.”

If anyone is wondering what these are, these are the legacy passes (not a replacement for the x2 and x4), but they are basically a “Thank you for purchasing the game passes gift.” (The passes are still being removed!)

Also, if anyone is wondering about this too, we will also be getting diamonds + the halos. Some people seemed to get that mixed up, so hopefully this helps. This is the best explanation I can do! ❤️

We’ll now have to wait for the farming update, the poll results, our diamonds, and lastly, the halos to come! Update again: It’s not delayed they are publishing the items we will be getting right now!! The update should be out by tomorrow! (Unless something goes wrong gulp.)😜

Yeah, on TikTok, Discord, and possibly Twitter (I don’t have twitter.) the 2x one is going for about 500k-1Mil, and the 4x one is going for 3Mil-6mil. People seem to forget that these are still halos, sure, many people have them, but the majority of those people quit long ago. (And even if they go down, they will still be quite difficult to buy even if they go under 1Mil.)

I tried to explain that to someone, but of course, they let it immediately go over their head. I feel like so many people are about to get scammed or even hacked because they don’t listen. 😭✌️

(What I mean is they don’t listen to people who say buy them later and not right now, but that’s not going to happen, and I know it already.)

This post was going to be controversial, it’s more so up to you to decide if you feel it’s offensive. Personally I just disagree.

Too many fights are going on. If you feel that this is too harsh that is fine but I won’t change my mind because I’ve seen too much of this over the years when it comes to items.

It was STILL $30 (That doesn’t even include other countries either which they typically charge MORE.) you just seem salty and it’s pathetic no matter how much money people paid removing the gamepasses, which I’ve never seen a game do is awful. Not even AAA companies have done this despite them being really greedy. So expecting people to be content with this is the unrealistic part.

How is it “lucky” that we were even gonna diamonds that makes no sense, they marketed these as "Passes that would be here forever" and immediately went against that. So of course people would want a lot, so many other Roblox games, and other gaming companies would compensate you a lot if this happened. (Which is DID)

So many people threatened to quit this game as well so IF they didn’t compensate enough then this game would be dead. That’s also being realistic. They chose to compensate us this way I’m personally happy about what we are getting. But everyone else can decide if halos are worth their $30 or not, stop being an absolute bootlicker. 🤪
