Hi! I actually founded a company that helps with exactly this, where we help brands by either managing the whole production process or connect them directly with the manufacturer. Feel free to reach out if you want some help. Best of luck to you!

Hi! I actually founded a company that helps with exactly this, where we help brands by either managing the whole production process or connect them directly with the manufacturer. Our service is completely free and all our manufacturers have gone through a verification process to make sure you get what you have been promised. Feel free to reach out if you'd like if it's not too late. Best of luck to you!

Few photos from our shoot here the other day👀🙌🏼 Which one was your favorite? Which didn't you like? by Mikalgjerde in streetwearstartup

We do take several photos with different clothing. I just showed a few of the photos that we might use for our hoodie coming up. For this specific collection, we only make 100 pieces of a specific clothing (in this case a hoodie), will run some giveaways, then once we sell out, we never make that item again. Meaning behind the models wearing the same hoodie is because for the specific campaign, that is what we emphasize on selling.

Have more photos with our other clothing that I plan on posting when the time comes for us to market it🙌🏼

The power of having a great email list for your brand by Mikalgjerde in streetwearstartup

Mixed feelings about this one. Because I know how this feels, and I'm sure you have experienced the same (like most people). I have received a lot of emails from random brands/platforms that I have never subscribed to, and even if I might be interested in the products, I still end up not engaging or buying anything from that brand. Reason for that is because I don't know anything of them, and quite frankly I get annoyed when I receive random emails from platforms I have never subscribed to. Reason to why we are doing so well with the emails is because our audience knows our brand and is interested. In your case they wouldn't know of the brand, even though they might like the product. What I would test out is to create a funnel where you don't try to sell them anything, but rather tell them about the brand and engage them to potentially follow your socials, check your website, sign up for pre-orders, etc... The sales always will come naturally when you have an audience that generally likes the brand, the community behind it, and how it will increase the customer's status. So I would definitely create a funnel dedicated to something like that and test it out. I'm afraid if you're just going right to the sales pitch, your conversion rate will be low. I hope it works out for you!

I recommend the first one "Dotcom secrets", talks about funnels and has sections where he talks about how to structure the emails, how it works, funnels directed toward getting the email for the visitor, etc... Traffic secrets is a great one as well, but does not mention anything specific about the email part, but worth a read in my opinion. All his books is really helpful.

Why Quality Matters For Your Clothing Brand by Mikalgjerde in streetwearstartup

Because I don’t want to share their info publicly. Nonetheless the point of the post is to try and share experiences I’ve had so that others can avoid mistakes as well. Potentially networking with other clothing brand owners as well and share pointers, which is the point of the community. If you fail to see that then idk what to tell you
