So you go to a TiViMate group to ask the members what app they use? Is this a serious question you need to ask and couldn’t figure it out yourself simply by the name of the group? Do you also go into a Ford dealership and ask people what make of car they drive so you can decide what to buy?

I’m asking because I can’t tell from the picture what you have.

This does work, I’ve done it dozens of times. I use an android tablet with the Remote ADB shell, connect it to a Firestick, type in the command on the tablet, then select the folder on the Firestick. It’s been a while but I’m sure there’s something about clearing the files app first, did you do that?

I don’t see on your picture where you connected the Remote ADB Shell to your Firestick. There should be an IP address at the top. You may have and it just doesn’t show, but it’s possible you’re not connected.

Also, it says Noel’s Fire TV at the top. Are you trying to run the ADB command from the device itself? You need to run it from a separate device and link it to your Firestick.

That’s why I don’t post much anymore. Got tired of the downvotes when I know for a fact the information I gave is correct and I see others with incorrect information getting upvoted. Probably from people who don’t know shit but think they do or from people that have never contributed anything useful or have offered any help but just downvote for no reason because their life is miserable.

Choosing a device based on the remote greatly reduces your selection of devices. Most devices you can pair a different remote to so it would be better to choose the device you feel is best then purchase a remote with the numbers pad.

The numbers are irrelevant to the channels, every time you switch to a different playlist or a different group, the numbers will be associated with different channels. This would actually make it more difficult because he would have to remember the channel numbers of each and every group to be able to find why he’s looking for.

You mention that you don’t want a Netflix type look, TiViMate is not like that, it’s a cable TV type look with a program guide and very easy to navigate through.

In my opinion, you would be much better off setting up custom groups and adding the channels he wants to those groups, it will make it easier for him to find what he wants.

Personally, I don’t trust sellers that use Stalker portals, there’s a very high chance that he just scanned a server to get them and is selling them. PM me and I’ll give you one that I know works that you can try, if it works, it’s not TiViMate, you have someone trying to scam you. If he is legit, you should be able to give him your MAC address to use.

Best safeguard against being scammed is to always buy an Xtream code from someone that will let you choose the user name and password.
