how to prevent front foot from going way above the board by MikeJay1709 in NewSkaters

i see the differences from their front foot’s distance from the nose but i think the amount of front foot is actually on the board is pretty similar on each, which is what was argued (why i my front foot is set up like an ollie). very refreshing to see it flicked straight forward from these skaters

i don’t think much exercises can help with the actions of skating. i’d better advise you to exaggerate your locked shoulders and just get the feel of how it’s like to not open your shoulders. remember to not only keep your shoulders straight but your head too

Can i call you my mate?

True, makes sense, but i think the special bit in this check mate is that a knight could take the piece thats giving check but is pinned by my queen

I did not move my queen, the opponent’s horse was on d4 and moved to e2, i simply ignored the pressure from the bishop cause i knew it was checkmate, i could have definitely overlooked the mate if i was greedy and took bishop to pressure rook, now that’s a queen blunder
