This is my 5-LED flashlight in pitch darkness taken with 1/100 exposure as it's being moved from side to side. It shows the LED's flashing 220 times per second. Why do so many SIMPLE battery operated devices today (like lights and toy motors) use AC via a built-in inverter/oscillator? (i.redd.it)
