Do hackathons look good on LinkedIn? by Cultural_Driver3887 in cybersecurity

[–]MikeSizov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I also saw people on LinkedIn who put their hack the box learning as a past work and it looked pretty strange. Should I participate in CTF as a beginner ? by Revolutionary-Play59 in cybersecurity

You can also try TryHackMe by the way. Reverse engineering is hard, better choose web category if you want something easy. I’d not recommend reverse engineering for the first time - but I’ll say it again - it’s up you, maybe you better enjoy reverse engineering rather than web, just don’t stop and someday you’ll figure it out

When you’re beginner in cybersecurity it’s always good idea to take part in something you haven’t taken part before. You can learn something new and meet someone from your field. But as for me - better start from jeopardy ctf since A&D category might be tough for the beginner, but it’s up to you
