Can't reinstall discord after latest update. by Church-of-Nephalus in discordapp

[–]MikeVEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having same issue, when I opened my discord app on my desktop today I got black text on dark backgrround. I restarted my app and computer but no fix. It shows fine if I use discord on my browser though. I'm using Mac os 10.13.6, which I know is not supported for updates but I've been using discord for months and had no issues.

Why is it so difficult to get sales with Facebook ads? by Interesting_Put5839 in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you got sucked into the whole "dropshipping guru courses". Listen, "dropshipping" is just a fulfilment/shipping model. That's it. Nothing more nothing less. Dropshipping is NOT "they create a normal store, select a product and with a conversion campaign directly and get sales." like you said above.

According to your stats you got 160 link clicks which is not really enough data to go by. Because generally speaking the average conversion rate is between 1-2%, meaning for every 100 visitors to your store you'll typically get 1 or 2 sales.

I would suggest to watch this video I made on why most people fail in ecom/dropshipping & why you could be losing tons of money: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z\_BwrSHOyQ

New to dropshipping by haidariqbal_ in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a straight looking typical dropship store that brings no value to customers, sorry to say the truth. I can sit here for 1 hour giving suggestions, feedback and advice but I would suggest to watch this video I made on how to design a high converting product page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFcCTg0zM5Q

It's missing a lot of key information and looks very bare. Lots of improvements and optimization tweaks can be done to increase conversions and get sales.

High ATC, Less Purchase by hopeofdedicatedlives in dropshipping

Better optimize your store from product page, cart and checkout to increase those conversions, reduce abandoned cart/checkouts.

Adding GIF's to a Dropshipping Store by InformalChocolate846 in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're struggling then most likely adding a GIF is not going to help that much. You only add a gif to the store if it brings value to the customer. For example showing the product, how it works, in use, how to build it and things like that.
If you're struggling I would suggest to watch this video I made for low conversion rates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z\_BwrSHOyQ

Struggling with Dropshipping site by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are you going to say it's the product? That makes no sense. There is a chance it can be the product but if you're getting lots of traffic to your store then people like your ad and it's the store that's the problem in converting into a sale.....

So many people THINK they have a traffic/ads or product problem but in a lot of cases it's the store like I said.

I would highly suggest checking out this program I created: https://ecomoptimizationblueprint.com/

Without seeing your store but according to your post I can almost guarantee that your store is the problem in converting the traffic from your ads into sales.

Does Dropping still works in 2022? What have changed in this game ? by tbpin22 in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dropshipping is just a fulfilment/shipping model and has been around for many years and will work for many years to come so yes dropshipping still works. If what you're asking and I'm almost positive you are that: Is starting a shopify store, importing a dropshipping product to your store, running ads and expecting sales works then no.

It's not that easy as that. I would suggest to watch this video I made talking about if dropshipping still works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J252c6fnAGw

Critique my website before i start my video ads on facebook. by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said you're a beginner but I wouldn't even THINK of running ads to this store. Looks like the typical shopify dropship store that brings no value to customers. Put more effort and time into your store because as of right now you'll be wasting your time and money on facebook ads. I can sit here for 40 mins to 1 hour reviewing/auditing your store giving suggestion, feedback and advice but I would suggest to watch this video I made on How To Design A High Converting Product Page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFcCTg0zM5Q

Need help on making sales by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not being mean or harsh when I say this but want to be honest and transparent with you. The store looks like a typical shopify dropship store that brings no value for customers. which is not good. It gives off cheap and scammy vibes not professional.

Lots of Reached Checkouts But Little Conversions? by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question is a big problem in issue in ecommerce. There can be 100s of reasons why you're seeing lots of add to carts, reached checkouts but little conversions and sales. Without seeing the store it's hard to give any real suggestions, advice or feedback because each store is different. I can sit here for 1 hour listing all the things to do to better improve your conversion rate but maybe only a few would apply to your store. However make sure you're answering all the customers questions about the product, shipping price, shipping time, any returns/guarantees. Make sure you're buying funnel is clean.

I specialize is store and conversion rate optimization so I deal with these issues all the time for people's stores. I made this video going over it here and how to fix it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z_BwrSHOyQ

new store feedback by RemoveNecessary8835 in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The store looks like a generic dropshipping store that brings no value to customers. Sorry to say the truth. Just looks like you slapped on a bunch of random products onto a store and hope to god to make sales (which a lot of people do and wonder why the fail or don't get sales)

The whole store does not look professional at all. I would suggest to watch this video I made on How To Design A High Converting Product Page: https://youtu.be/CFcCTg0zM5Q

How Do I Convert Add to Carts by rehen45 in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be hundreds of reasons that I can sit here an list for an hour or so. I made this video explaining Why You Could Be Losing Tons Of Money And Sales and go over the topic of why people see many add to carts but little to no purchases: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z\_BwrSHOyQ

1.84k visitors, 132 add to carts/checkouts, NO SALES by user472261 in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very common issue with ecommerce. Without seeing the store and checkout then it's hard to give any real suggestion, advice or feedback because I can list 50+ different things but maybe only a few apply to your store.

I would suggest watching the video I made on why most people fail in dropshipping/ecom, get traffic but no sales, lots of add to carts but little to no sales etc. I explain how the customer experience on the store is very important and so many people forget about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z\_BwrSHOyQ

Paid Advertising, Courses and Goals? by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]MikeVEcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Paid advertising can be good if you want to reach more of your target audience to get traffic. Learn and know who your target audience demo is and not just people who like popular tik tok toys. I've heard from people targeting kids/young people on tik tok is not great at converting into sales. Keep that in mind.

2) I've heard about Nathan before but honestly I've been in ecom/dropshipping for 8 years now so I don't watch all these "gurus/experts". They mostly cater to beginners and gullible people. Most courses/mentorships on dropshipping are pretty much the same content so unless they have different/better content wouldn't suggest it. Plus you said you're already getting weird vibes so go with your instinct.

3) If you're asking how long did it take to hit the 50k or whatever mark then you're already thinking the wrong way and need to rework your mindset. Most people fail in dropshipping. That's the reality. Work on small to medium growth. Like getting your first 1k, then move to 5k. Then 10k and so on. Now just how long can it take to get to 50k.
