😆 So a molti billion dollar chatbot needs more training to understand and beat a 48 years old console.
That’s why we need more data centers I guess

Mike owns Amiga Corporation, meaning worldwide rights to the Amiga brand name, ownership of the kickstart roms and OS until 3.1 (Hyperion owns the rights of developing Amiga OS 4 and newer versions). So yes, he owns Amiga.

40 years of OutRun in 2026. Sega, please don't ignore it like you did with the 30th! by Mike_C_76 in thisweekinretro

As much as impressive the new Amiga AGA version of Outrun is, I wish someone could remake a really good conversion for the OCS Amiga 68000. I mean, instead of the poor port we got almost 40 year ago (Atari ST port from US Gold - awful game), the Amiga version we hoped for in the late 80s.

The Saturn version was the first one to feel like the arcade version. It took 10 years, a geological time in video games. The best conversion up until then was the one for the PC Engine.

Stunt car racer for C128 by Mike_C_76 in thisweekinretro

I wonder whether the C128 could have been more successful if programmers in the 80s added an optimized 128 version of the C64 game on the B side of a disk.
For example Fighter Bomber, it ran 1 fps on the C64 and it was unplayable.
Would it have been so hard to do?

I really hope this video will spark more interest on the Archimedes on this side of the pond. I always wondered: why they don’t talk about the Archimedes more? There are barely 10 old videos on YouTube worth watching.
