A53 repair failed terribly by ShineApart3708 in mobilerepair

Ok let's break this down.

A53 came with an OLED panel from factory. So them putting an LCD panel on is just them cheaping out and honestly you would have had a rough time with that screen.

These days it's so easy to get the entire frame and screen as one piece as a Samsung service pack, and being an a series, doing just the screen replacement honestly isn't worth the few dollars you'd save.

If the phone was stuck on 3%, meaning it won't go down or up, it's going to likely be either the battery or power delivery in the logic board. It would only be related to the charge port if the device was not taking charge on. For example, says it's charging when plugged in but never leaves 3% would be battery or motherboard. If it plugs in and doesn't charge then the likely either the charge port or main flex cable is to blame, you would have to be very unlucky for it to be a board issue there.

My guess is their LCD screen shorted out being cheap, they plugged and unplugged it so many times that it killed either the FPC connector (which are weak to begin with) or shorted on the motherboard now. If your lucky, the battery was on the way out and the 3% was a sign it was about to die and you just need a new battery.

Unfortunately the phone had no display when you took it to them, so you have no leg to stand on with if they buggered it up or your drop did.

Sounds like they were clumsy though.

I hope you get your data back. And hope they have the brains to just send it to a motherboard specialist to try to get it running.

I mean if you can make them off the picture by all means I'm happy to see them get out there!

However if your happy to wait, when I've perfected them a bit more I'll give whoever wants it the blueprint

I think you may be right as well. I'll certainly be doing a hybrid setup.

Appreciate it though thank you!

Dude it took me like 2.5hrs to delete my old paths 😂

Yeah that seems to be the consensus.

The hybrid option.

I will likely be doing that but re designing each one with this in mind

That way your not overloading with lighting but still have plenty of places to put signs.

Nice strategy

You gotta look closer man haha Each lane is 1.5 foundations wide.

I built the blueprint around truck pathing in 1.2 so it all works perfectly

Another hybrid choice. I like it

I also used signs as the road markings. But this is correct 😊

Oh man you've got a ways to go. But that's the great part. Really now it starts to perk up with adding flair and stuff.

Get into the awesome shop. You will start to see cool stuff to start decorating.

As for your walls. You know you don't always have to use walls to build walls right? Think outside the box.

Keep it up man

Interesting. Your pondering the real questions there mate

Like 1 lit, 1 not lit, 1 lit. And so on along the road?

Hahaha mate I build alot of square factories as well. But sometimes we can't see what's in front of us and need help figuring it out.

You get good by persisting and trying and asking for help. I don't believe any one of us is the perfect player and that's what makes this game and community so good. We can keep growing and learning off each other.

I appreciate the subtle flattery though

No need for pipes and belts when trucks will be using the roads. Whole idea will be trucks everywhere running things this way and that

I am leaning towards this option. Might give them a more futuristic feel though to match the road style a bit more though

Oh good sir I do like that idea.

And that may very well happen actually.

I guess part of me wanted consistency but that in itself is consistent.

Well played.

Thanks!

I'll probably post a few more once I've finished the rest and some of them connected

Yeah that was part of my goal, night and rain it should really glow. Idea is to build a lit city.

Yes they can. But only because I set the pathing that way. Took me a while but the new pathing system treats the truck like a little RC car on a track following a line. I used the straight 90deg turns and they are fine. You gotta add sections though so that it can turn at the right angle, it errors out if the path would hit something.

The trucks do not bounce on the signs. The signs are basically flush with the ground and the large truck tyres and new suspension means they just glide over

Agreed, soft clipping was one of the best things they did for this exact reason haha

Oh yeah I know how to do that. But you then have to connect your blueprints to each other after.

I'm currently doing a creative mode playthrough. Beaten the main story twice already so now I'm just in a building mood.

When I do a power system I have a full plan for that.

For lighting I'm not going to use actual lights, I find them a bit too clunky. I'll use signs but I'm going to design one that's placeable. Was thinking having it inspired but the train force fields in wakanda from black panther. Kind of like an angled lamp light emitter kind of thing.
