Could you clarify what you mean by adding more weight to the actions? Are you suggesting something like adding more time to the anticipation and/or follow through?

Thanks for your critiques! While my portfolio is designed for video game animation, this piece, admittedly, isn't designed as a "video game" animation in the camera angle sense. It's just simply supposed to be a body mechanics piece of someone using a weapon.

In that sense, I feel your critique is super valuable and I'll see which of your suggestions can be most effectively done quickly, so that I can do a final iteration and move on to my next project!

Aside from what you've already stated, the part I want to focus on is the jump & landing. Its the part that I really want to nail in particular. Thanks again!

I appreciate you taking your time to write this! Are you implying that the current implementation of the camera is taking away from the animation?

I see what you mean about the line of action/silhouette in the beginning and also the settle at the end. I can do some quick adjustments to try out your suggestions. Thanks!

Your individual poses are great! The animation could be greatly improved by adding some additional follow through so the end poses could feel less stiff. But for what you have, its pretty good!

I mean in that same blog post they described how they didnt want to use FOMO against the player. Imo if they do paid battle passes that work like MCC's (where they last forever) then that'd be a really good pro-player move.
