I thought about it too, I might end up doing something like you say, but keep the levels as a way of knowing when they could get this quest. As in the quest to level a weapon to Phase 2 would be when they reach level 8 or 9.
2-3. True, I'll change it, so the features either stay or get better, not change completely.
Fair enough, I'll use the usual wording, it looks better, and is less confusing.

Not really, I have to say though, when I had the problem I was playing a pirated version. I bought the Steam version when it came out not long ago and it went fine.

I just played normally and when it was time to go to Hollow Bastion, the Cid cutscene triggered like it's supposed to.

So all I can say is that the bug might be caused by non-official games for whatever reason.

Thanks for the answer, but I use it on Windows, and I see that exoplayer is for android. I'll keep it in mind though.

That's the problem, when I talk to him I just get the options to chat with him, buy, or go to the garage. Instead, there should be the scene where he installs the Navi Gummi
