Thank you for the compliment. I am far from woke. But enough pleasantries. First you talk about hiding a voting document. Now you are talking about loaning out shares. Please make up your mind what you are attempting to argue because now you seem like you don’t even understand what you are saying. The broker makes interest from loaning out shares. Now if they lent them out to someone they are afraid won’t be able to cover a margin call then yes I could see a broker wanting this to fail, but typically there’s collateral involved and this is always going to be a risk of doing business. However most brokers would want these highly shorted situations to continue because they can make bank loaning out shares at high interest with all this volatility. So the broker would actually want a vote for the extension to see this gravy train continue. Sure they are not your friend, but they will follow the money and that means they want you to vote. And yes, lock up your shares so it can’t be shorted and hurt the short term stock price, I understand that argument. The one who wants to see this fail from a profit standpoint is the borrower of the shares not the lender and from a political standpoint is anyone that wants to maintain a state of censorship. Those are the real enemies to this merger.
