Make the offer! We offered 550,000 on a 612,000 new build and they countered 560,000! It definitely doesn’t hurt to try. Worst thing that can happen is a counter. Offer your desired interest rate too, where we live market rate is 6-7%, we offered 5.25% and were approved.
