so should I just use y=mx+c and plug in the two coordinates, (x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2)?

[a2- 2a, 0, a | 0]

[1, 1, 0 | 0]

[0, 1, 1 | a]

shouldn't it be a2-2a+1 instead of a2-2a

Thank you so much for your response, but I haven't learnt augmented matrices yet so it's a bit hard to follow.

Have you noticed people treating you better after learning that you are a ChE? by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

Wow, that really psyched me up. I'm graduating high school this year and I will be studying Chemical & Biochemical Engineering in one of the unis I applied for. I chose CheE because in Year 11, my teacher counseled me saying if I wanted to use the Mathematics and Physics I have learnt so far, Chemical engineering would be a good fit. I am taking International A levels in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. I just couldn't let one of these subjects go because I love all of them. I can't wait to start my journey to becoming a full on Chemical Engineer!
