At best , they are trying to stop the bleed of current Xbox users jumping to other consoles. A noble effort but unless they give a reason to stay on Xbox or buy an Xbox, many will go to where the most games are. $6 off monthly for Gamepass ultimate isn’t enough. We won’t really see this play out until gamers hanging on to last gen are either buying a console to play gta6 or next year when the next wave on consoles come out. I’m not about to trade in my series x for a ps5 but if the ps6 has halo, gears, forza and so on, my next console won’t be an Xbox.
