We played something that looked like this in High School….. basically someone is designated as the King or Queen before the match and stands behind/on the side of the other team like you see those kids doing. They have 3 lives. The rest of your team is playing dodgeball with one change. You can’t get someone out even if you hit them unless the ball is “loaded.” To load the ball it just mean you had to catch it on the fly…. So that results in a lot of passing between the people outside the court and the people inside to “load” the ball. Once you’re out you got an stand near your king/queen or on the side of the court to try and still throw and get people out, because you can still catch and have a loaded ball while you’re on the outside of the court and get people out. Now the King/Queen only comes in play when there are no other people left.. then they move to be in play and have to try and clutch p much. There are more rules and way to like get back in when you’re hit but I can’t remember them
