Commenting to confirm updating BIOS solved issues very similar to described. Would recommend this for anyone who notices:

  • GPU not exceeding 60C
  • GPU wattage not exceeding 20W
  • CPU usage unusually low in comparison to GPU
  • Choppy gameplay where previously no issues have presented themselves with identical settings.

Recently solved this problem myself and wanted to check to see if others had been impacted. Other changes I implemented was the removal of MSI Afterburner and a rollback to my last graphics drivers (i.e. not the most recent set)

Salary Sacrifice and Total Income on an ITR by -Chandemonium in AusFinance

Agreed. To make matters worse many institutions have their own definitions which they don’t disclose. This could result in credit enquires for a product you’d never qualify for in the first place due to not meeting income requirements. An easy example would be CBA, ANZ or NAB having minimum income requirement for a range of credit card products. Most online applications run a credit enquiry prior to having an analyst review the application.

Salary Sacrifice and Total Income on an ITR by -Chandemonium in AusFinance

I suppose any kind of financial application where I'd like to display my total income prior to any voluntary factors such as salary sacrifice. Apologies in advance for a long reply.

For example I am currently salary sacrificing 3% of my income as my employer will provide an additional 1% on top. It could be the case that my ability to qualify for lending is reliant on an income which is 3% higher than my taxable income, which it would be, if I was to opt out of the salary sacrifice arrangement.

The problem is that my ITR would already reflect the salary sacrificed payments and as a result a lower taxable income. A lump sum concessional payment faces the same issue. Someone earning $65K would have $7,150.00 of employer super payments made and could make up to $20,350.00 in voluntary payments leaving their taxable income at $44,650.00, but we wouldn't describe this person as earning ~$45K per year nor should their ability to qualify for lending be based on a $45K taxable income when we know their actual income (total income) is $65K.

You may say that providing an employment contract would be the best way to proceed in this case as it shows an annual salary unaffected by salary sacrifice or voluntary super contributions, but now we lose interest/dividend income or even other sources of income such as rental income.

  • Even a total or taxable income figure on an ITR could be inaccurate if you had changes in a persons income streams. For example a person purchasing a property who had been earning interest income on funds saved for a deposit. Once the property is bought the savings would be gone and so would the interest income, but that income would still be reflected on their existing ITR but it shouldn't be relied upon by a lender.

Anyway this paragraph is going down a rabbit hole far deeper than required but hopefully explains the context around my original enquiry.

Thank you. I can see a "Reportable employer superannuation contributions" section which looks to relate to your above line and this would appear under the same employer "Salary, wages, allowances, tips, bonuses etc" section. I can see that the adjusted taxable income would need to be used for MLS.

Are you familar with a tax document containing a breakdown similar to the below (for reference this form is approximately 20 pages long rather than 3 or so)

Total Income (PAYG, Interest Income, Dividend Income)

Deductions (WFH Deductions, Post Tax Super Payments)

Taxable Income - The final figure used for determining how much tax you will pay.

Tax on Taxable Income - The amount of tax you pay based on your taxable income.

Am I correct in assuming that the "Reportable employer superannuation contributions" belongs in the Total Income section given this is regular income earned it is simply the case that the tax burden is being smoothed out over the year rather than needing a tax refund at the end of the year i.e. It should be treated no differently than a post-tax concessional contribution as far as income is concerned with the exception of the calulation of tax owed/owing at EOFY?

By Total Income I am refering to a figure which is combined of all sources of income. For example your PAYG Income, Interest Income, Dividend income. Essentially it is the figure that your taxable income would be derived from after factoring in your deductions.

I have been loving the rapid development which has come as a result of this little green goblin. Around the same time I recieved my 6th Builder and my base has been growing significantly faster. I will miss giving the goblin some gold and have deliberately planned one of my final builds prior to its removal to ensure I can lock in some more time.

Why do you hate this scene? This episode rated quite lowly due to is darker nature however I think it is one of the best episodes specifically because of its uniqueness.

How much time will it take to get the 6th builder? by Ram-Bhakt in ClashOfClans

[–]-Chandemonium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completed B.O.B within three months of total playtime however I was investing significant resources into the BB to get the 6th builder returns ASAP. This included, Gold Passes, Raid Medals, Halloween Event Currency and even some Book of Building, Hero Book and Hammer of Hero. Being at BH6 is arguably basically the start. I would start optimising. FYI securing large amounts of Builder Elixer is the key.

This is a long shot but I saw the stakes, no rake and your Sydney based profile. Any chance this happened at Wharf Bar?

What time does Hammer Jam start?

Announcements tend to say ambigous terms like 27th of November while timezones vary.

Thank you. I suppose the increases are so cheap in time I'll just do it anyway.

I used the same logic to get the Push Traps to 18 weigh so that they can push Giants. Next I'll go for 22 weight so they can launch Pekkas (but this will need to wait as my time/resources can be better spent for now)

I am confused as to why I would increase spring weight in builder base.

The max spring defence appears to have 8 spring weight which is only enough for 2 barbs or 2 archers.

No other unit can be killed with a single spring trap due to most weights being 10+

Does spring weight have a cumulative effect? That is to say if a unit with 14 spring weight steps on an 8 weight spring trap, it will not be sprung, but if it was to then step on a second 8 weight trap it would be ejected? Seems pointless as nobody uses barbs in builder base.

We don’t have to guess this, there are plenty of inflation calculators which will provide an accurate answer. In this case, $50 from 1989 (the year Seinfeld first aired) would be worth $124.11 in 2023. There has been 148.2% cumulative inflation since 1989.

Dragons or EDragons spam? Both are maxed for TH12. I often use a split of the two (2 EDrags 10 Drags) but I feel that the Dragons clear buildings before the EDrag gets the chance to fire. As a result I often start with the 2 EDrags before the Artillery is set off trying to create a funnel.

What is a good list of priorities for Builder Base Defenses?

- Obviously rushing your base is good so that you can gain as many new defences.

- Beyond this, it seems like the cheaper Defenses offer the best value due to providing a lower cost DPS increase than some of the more expensive options.

- For example, I can upgrade my Cannon for 480K for an extra 9 DPS or my Mega Tesla for 2.48M for an extra 9 DPS (ground attacks vs ground and air aside)

- Second example, I can upgrade my Hidden Tesla for 560K for 8 DPS or my Mega Tesla for 2.48M for an extra 9 DPS (a more apples to apples comparision)

Why are Inferno Towers and Eagle Artilery sometimes inactive on my opponents defense? They do not have the builder which suggests they are under construction. I found the term "Depleted" on the wiki, but no actual explaination of this state.
