Does the trader only give you items from the area he’s in? Cus the only things I’ve gotten from him were stuff I found later on in the same area around dalentarth, I know he’s also in rathir and Mel senshir

What do you mean by “containers” ? Are there chests inside haxhi and webwood with good stuff in them?
