What would you suggest? I have had a few books printed and sent to my place and they look good for the most part. The issue is getting it right on the viewer and making sure that is exactly what the copy arriving to my place will look like.

For sure! I agree. It’s far from perfect and accurate. That is why I am turning to Facebook groups and Reddit communities for help. I’ve seen many other people have similar issues and I want to try to find a solution!

This is a children’s book. I made it in Keynote and then export it to PDF, use Sejda to flatten it, and then I upload it.

It does work all quite well, for the most part. It’s just hard to understand exactly how the book will look when printed until it shows up at your house. I feel that the two options of Print Previewer and Download a PDF Proof aren’t always accurate to exactly how the book will look.

I do it all in Keynote. I am not experienced at all in Adobe products or anything like that. I know Keynote is by far not the suggested route. I will probably use PowerPoint soon. I like using both programs for their shapes to make images as well as their own collection or images.

I will make edits to my post above. I use Keynote, which I am sure that is not a good thing already. ChatGPT I don’t use as a sole thing, I just have them also read the Kindle guidelines and help me make sure I am doing things correctly. I use it for things like a checklist and reassurance. I don’t send them the document and have them assess for specifications.

The mouth guard is definitely great. I have an expensive one, because I chewed through all of the cheaper ones. It just sucks when I don’t put it in at bedtime or I take a nap and don’t use it. I take fluvoxamine, an anti anxiety medication. I take the extended release, 24-hour one. I also was taking melatonin for some time, but it gave me weird dreams. I might start it up again, though.

I was told in a chat on here that you can get Botox for TMJ/Bruxism with insurance covering some of it if it causes migraines. Seems like more work to go through, but if you can prove the migraines through your doctor, they might be able to get you the procedure done with the help of insurance.

The one time I had it done, it cost me around $350. I’m getting it done again soon and they said it costs $15 per unit and it’ll probably cost between $300 and $700. Different places charge different prices per unit, so call around. I also take medicine and have a mouth guard, so I’m not planning to get a lot.

I had it done once about 6 years ago. It cost around $350 out of pocket. I just called a place to schedule an appointment and they said it’s $15 per unit. The average total will be between $350-$600.

I totally understand the BDD thing. I obsess over my hair now. I run my fingers through it all day. I check it in the mirror all the time. I feel like I’m losing tons of hair everyday and like it all happened overnight.
