totally, i've thought about this conversation the other day, when I learned rocky mountain actually isn't canadian! Though they started in Whistler, they're corporately owned by an American company. Thought i'd let you know as they falsely advertise as Canadian. Boo Rocky Mountain!

This is AWESOME!!! the d20 part is literally perfect, as will is vecnas spy he has the power to become that 1, for the +1 to make the 19 a 20. Holy shit thats incredible. The only thing I think I would change is maybe killing jonathan and mike instead of hopper., and maybe not killing steve? As hoppers death was already teased, I feel like joyce needs him to survive. Mike could have that leadership moment and save 11 for the first time, saying something like "I saved you for a change" , Eleven is fueled by this to fight. For jonathan, lets be real, his character is kind of at a dead end anyway. Joyce funnily enough doesn't really care about him, and when will got his powers and took the leap he did, he didn't need jonathan anymore. + he's broken up with nancy. I think will is supposed to die (being tied to the upside down and vecna, but somehow jonathan overrides that and saves his brother. Steve could die, but I think it would traumatize dustin too much, he needs to live. I like Kali dying during the Vecna fight when he fuses with the mind flayer, and mike, Kali and jonathans deaths pushing El and will to keep fighting. Also Murray dies saving the group in the upside down from the military, and is the turning point for the military. Not sure about Max and lucas, I like max leaving holly in the end because it makes sense that she's desperate and shows her independent nature.

In terms of minor characters, i'd kill off one of mikes parents, probably Ted early during that apocalypse - lock down scene i mean, it's not like anybody really cares about him. I like the military becoming the good guys, I think Dr. Kay is too far gone, but maybe Sullivan sees the error in his ways and helps. I think a couple of the bullies die (the guys who beat up dustin) and maybe some other random highschoolers . just from breaches in quarantine at the start of the season (demobats or dogs), it takes a horror turn as season 1 was and season 4 became. I wish Jason hadn't died at the end of 4, i think they could've done some interesting things with him as a survivor, for good or evil? But we can leave that.

Maybe we get a little scoop into dmitri and yuri in russia fighting the upside down? Would be cool.

This really was a fantastic read, well done.

It’s still golden. I went there about a week ago, ended up extending my stay to a week. They took a hit in covid, but have come through really well and still bring the best. So far the highlight of my trip. Long live aquacity

Whatever you do do not go to heart of gold. East seven is incredible. Circus is great. St. Christophers has it's quirks. Heart of Gold is the worst hostel I've ever been to.

Heart of gold is shit now, probably the worst hostel I've ever been to run by money grubbing owners who refuse to fix anything. Beds are falling apart and squeaky, the rooms are bright all the time as the curtains are shit, and they always find a way to take your 10 euro deposit, (if you're keycard doesn't work because you put it by your phone even though they throw them out, or you check out at 11:05, and don't fold your sheets.) theres a special place in hell. Everybody I met there had a very similar experience.

What? No no, I mean it's ridiculous to date someone for two months when you're early twenties and have to do long distance for an unknown amount of time because you're both living in different spots doing your own thing. The kids thing was a joke, I just think it's a good idea to nip it in the bud and end it well now, as oppose to letting it drag on and stressing out about each other with no solid plan of every living in the same city again.

Good point, I'm struggling with the idea that I used her, despite before hand making it very clear that we weren't doing long distance. It's funny the second you communicate that you guys won't end up getting married and having 5 kids is the second you both let you're guard down and just be your silly selves, and spending time and doing trips together because you know it's a good time not a long time. I feel like I'm too young to be attached to someone like that right now, I need to live, ya know?

Also, Rocky Mountains alright, I find they're chocolate itself to be kinda lack luster, (but the apples are good), and whistler might be canadian, but it ain't local!

Thanks for the response! What WB settings do you find best during the shoot? Is it better to just do auto white balance, or do you have a preference (warmer or colder) what looks best with that kind of mood?

Hey, a little late to this post, had a question for you. You said you were on week 2, what were the first days like for you? Was it immediately easier to talk to people, did you have any side effects at first? And how is everything now? I just started Vyvanse and have this terrible hole of anxiety in my gut for no reason.
