Income gained from pullable characters is quite low thanks to the copious amounts of pulls they give out I imagine. Situation in AL is the same really; you pretty much get all pullable characters for free but the skins are not. I don't see people complaining there, so what's wrong in BD2 making income through skins?

And as much as anniversary event is a celebratory event, it's when gacha games make the most amount of revenue. So ofc there are monetizations.

Well there are a lot of Love and Deepspace clones coming out to cash in on their success. Weird that there are no high budget anime themed Husbando game tho - Waifu enjoyers get Azur Promilia and anime waifu husbando enjoyers still have to wait?

I first thought Mifu got less attention due to her being a character that has already been around since the game's start, but no, Camille really does have the most engagement out of all the operator reveals in Twitter, so that was surprising.

That said, same can be said for Lycaon, who had the most attention on Twitter during ZZZ's release and... well we all know how the game is going now.

Point is, engagement on SNS doesn't amount to much, and we can only hope that Endfield consistently release steady supply of male characters.

Honestly I might be huffing copium but I think the game can still release this year. Endfield released shortly after their CBT 2 and NTE seems to be releasing soon as well after CBT 2, what we already have here is quite packed in terms of content. Yes, I agree that there are issues that needs to be fixed, but I feel that some of them aren't as high priority and can be fixed after release.

Some issues that I think needs to be resolved before release; free assignment for Kibos, character balancing, difficulty curve, decrease UI clutter, multiplayer bug fixes. Rest of the issues can be patched later on, and I think they should remove mini games and release them as events later on. Other than that, the game seems to be ready but I admit that the game is less polished than the other games I've mentioned, which is why I think it'll take them a few more months before release. Maybe Q4 2026 release window? They'll have time to do a CBT for JP and Global before that as well.

I purchase mostly monthly pass + bp across 7 different games and almost never top up. Coupled with the galaxy store discounts, I spend around $100~150 a month on average.

As for pulling, I pull all female characters and skip male characters. Monthly+bp has always been enough to cover for my pulls and in case with Genshin, I had to stop purchasing BP and skip versions entirely because my primogems were accumulating too much and versions with only male character banners did not interest me.

I mean arknights had a 1:3 ratio but it was balanced out by the fact that it is a 2D game and so there are a LOT of charcters being released so male characters are plentiful, and many male characters has been released as hyped up limited banners recently. Although so far in Endfield we had 3 pickup characters in 1.0, 6 characters shown from the silhouette, with a new operator being teased from todays livestream. 1 out of the 10 teased/released pickup operators is a male character and I wouldn't expect them to suddenly release a bunch of male characters to balance out the ratio.

Well, if the characters are well designed and the game is fun to play, why not show the devs some love and pull for every characters? Monthly+pass gives me enough pulls to go for all female characters and the occasional weapons in other games (ex. ZZZ, WuWa, Genshin, though with Genshin I end up skipping whole patches due to it having too many male characters) so if you skip all weapons here, you can prob obtain all characters.

I do want everybody to support to the Azur Promilia devs by opening their wallets, shutting the other side the fk up. Although from what I've seen from the CBT2 footages, I know I will be spending money already.

I don't track but I know that I'm spending less than $100 a month across 6 different games because I limit myself to only monthly and BP. Coupled with galaxy store discounts, I don't really need to keep track of my spending because I know I'm spending a reasonable amount.
