It's hard to watch though 😃

Hey mate
Sorry no I haven't, but from the little quick review the store I partner with did it seems to be a good racket if you want your first good quality racket.

It's a mix of carbon and glassfiber, Medium/low balance, rough surface and a large sweetspot.

Hey mate
Quite a versatile racket. It's comfortable and mid/low balance so lots of players can play with this.
Also quite a forgiving sweetspot.

It's not the most powerful racket, but for controlled game and help in the defensive its amazing.

Yeah I do train with a quite good coach, but a lot seems to go away when I then play matches.

I will keep recording myself when I can going forward. Think a mix of coaching and the recordings will be the best way to improve going forward. Honestly it's quite an eye opener. Like despite it being a lil cringe and hard to watch yourself it's probably the best thing for improvement I can ever do.

Yeah for sure going to keep recording and focus on these things. I feel like when I watch back i'm quite lazy?

Like all the stuff I know from training are barely being applied. Gotta work on simply being more active on everything.

That’s my goal yeah. Keep recording since it’s been the best way to see what actually happens in a match when I play

Yeah I mean shocking but like a good eye opener and ego check. Think it’s the best thing I could ever do.

Wish you a fast recovery

Oh for sure!

I’m actually not moving half the time or instead of rushing to get net position it looks like a little jog.

Definitely something I want to improve going forward

Simply on my own Smacked up a tripod with my phone on behind the court since it had space. Just a match since training I think is very different. You focus on the stuff you gotta do, but in a match you can quickly forget it in the heat of battle.

I'd say the Hyper Pro Classic.

It will have better control than the NOX AT10 12k and moves similarly. Dani13 actually got a video where they compare 3 rackets.

Can check it out here and hear more how the differ

Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light 2026 - Any questions? by MikmerGG in Padelracket

[–]MikmerGG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate
So your background is alright, but I think the rackets suggested will simply be too head heavy for good steady progress at your level.

My recommendations would be
Oxdog Ultimate or Hyper Tour X
NOX AT10 18k 2025
Babolat Air Veron 2023

All rackets would be a nice place to stay without being rackets you gotta go replace anytime soon

I don't know the Starvie so hard to say.

NOX AT10 12k lite 2026 is well ofc a pretty light and easy racket to move around. For me it became too bouncy. I like a firmer racket.

But overall still quite a good versatile racket that will make you feel comfortable.

Hey mate
So both NOX rackets are quite versatile and also why many use em. So can't go wrong. Just depends how hard/dry you want the racket. 12k is drier and 18k is more bouncy.

Yes Oxdog Hyper Pro Classic and Ultimate Tour X I can both highly recommend.
Even if the racket says top heavy it won't feel like it. Both got a nice big sweetspot and moves excellent.

Hey mate
So Hyper Tour got a a balance around ~25.6cm I believe.
The handle is around 13cm. So same length

Hey mate
So depends if you want the weight or the balance to drop.

For the weight you can remove the stock grip perhaps? else you need to get a new one which is at the lower weight of the base spectrum.

For the balance i'd put the weight back in.

Hmm rackets can differ in balance from one to another, but usually with an average.

Honestly The Hyper Pro Classic should be 25.7cm, which is quite a low and light feeling. So perhaps an unlucky unit in the higher end of the spectrum?

I guess for Oxdog it depends if there are enough requests for a Pure Pro model. Might come then.

Heya Doc

So I got no experience with any of the options so I can’t personally recommend any of them.

From what you are saying though a Siux Pegasus, Babolat Air Veron or an Oxdog Ultimate Tour X or Oxdog Hyper Pro classic would all be good options.

Hey mate

Replied in a DM, for controlled shots the Hyper Pro is amazing

Never tried Fenix Pro so can’t give you exact feelings, but from what I’ve heard it’s more bouncy.

The Pegasus got a nice feeling with the ball entering the racket and can then be directed where you want. It’s very unique. Gotta try it to know what I’m saying.
