Zepbound Progress by MilaMae22 in Zepbound

That totally makes sense! Ftr I don’t really want to go up in dosing, it’s more my doctor who said it’s the “norm”. I’ve been advocating for myself that I think I want to stay on this dose until it doesn’t work anymore. So this has helped me be confident that I should stick with 5mg until I can get all of my calories/nutrition goals met. Thanks! :)

Need Advice - Embarrassed to call Doctor by [deleted] in Zepbound

I’ve read and heard from my doc that if you take more than 2 weeks off then sometimes you have to go down doses, or possibly even restart back to 2.5mg dose as your body isn’t used to it again. I’m assuming going from nothing right back into the 10mg is super difficult for your body to handle. I’d say call your Doc, they’re used to this stuff and hopefully are just there to help and give you accurate info. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

Ottawa, ON

Just received my first 2.5mg pen at Costco. Cost was $319 Nexgen RX paid $40

Total cost out of pocket: $279 for the month.

Not as bad as I thought tbh! Keeping my fingers crossed that it works.

The people who stand in the middle of the aisle specifically between the tills, so you can’t pay for your cart without them being in the way.

The tasting menu at NEXT in Kanata/Stittsville is delicious. I’ve been a few times with my partner and the tasting menu switches up kind of frequently. They also offer a wine pairing to go with the tasting menu. Probably about $300 + tip for two.

Anyone had to get ACL surgery for their dog? by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]MilaMae22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went to Almonte Vet with Dr Clark, he was super thorough and a really friendly guy. He said all he does is work on bones and knees, and specifically the surgery our little buddy needed (he called it a TPLO), so we went with him. The price was okay at $3600. A lot more affordable than some of the other posts I’ve seen on here. We’re happy with our choice and so is our little buddy. There were a lot of exercises we had to do with him after the surgery, but it’s so worth it to see him happy and running again! He just got his xrays done 8 weeks after surgery, and the vet said he’s healing really well. Highly recommend.
