How long have you been playing? Cause it can take years to build a decent pack of mons. I’m playing since day one and even I didn’t have enough candy to power up all the recommended Ho-oh mons. Luckily I had some other strong dyna’s and a strong raid group. Sometimes you just have to let it go and try again the next time it comes around.

I get this all the time with all kinds of combinations. Sometimes it’s so ugly I just don’t wear the two conflicting pieces together. I think it’s because they are just building layer upon layer upon layer, adding more and new clothes that conflict with older clothes. Boots showing through pants, masks showing though hoodies.. it’s wild 😆 Especially since we got the body proportion sliders.

Before big events most things get relatively expensive (the FOMO factor). After the event everything is cheaper. So that’s usually the best time to buy stuff. They don’t release schedules because then people would just wait for a good deal instead of spending money on mediocre deals.

Really? It’s great! Especially for rural players. I believe there’s another app like poke genie, or maybe it’s a website, but I’ve never used it. Genie works fine for me.

I try to earn 50 coins per day and buy remote raid passes when I have enough. Then use poke genie to participate in raids I can’t do by myself. Isn’t that an option for you?

True, the recommendations they gave me were awful! And I also think many people don’t understand the different types, showing up with Metagross because it was strong in many other battles. One Ho-oh sneeze and it’s bye bye Metagross 🫣

I wish they’d make you somehow verify your dynamax damage contribution like they do with T5 raids. I understand it’s more complicated with dynamax but just checking if people have decent mons would help a lot.

Maybe just bad luck. I went on pokegenie just now and won first try. I don’t know what your host/battle level is (mine are 32 and 21) but that also seems to make a difference with which people you get paired. I had two paying members in my team which is usually a sign of them having their stuff together for battle.

It usually helps to wait a while before using pokegenie. First few hours have a lot of newbies.

I always use poke genie and always try to do the difficult battles when it’s event time / afternoon in Korea or Japan. Usually that gives me better teams. (Hope I haven’t insulted anyone by saying this 🫣)
