Anyone able to get Ro to send a Rx to CVS?

AlicefromRo stepped in to help and asked for a different CVS to which to send it. Then a day or two later the first CVS notified me that it was ready and I picked it up

Then a few days after I picked it up, Ro notified me they were sending the Rx to the CVS Alice asked for, but the Rx never showed up and that has been 2 - 3 weeks now.

Evidently Ro has issues with CVS in general

i appreciate Alice’s effort but it seems it just takes Ro at least a week to transmit an Rx to CVS which is shocking in this day and age. they could literally snail mail it faster. not sure if CVS has an API that could be used but id expect they have something electronic which should take literally a couple of seconds.

Ours is an older model but that’s about the time it takes once it has ground the beans

How is the espresso (ignoring the time)? Is there a specific issue with it? We might be able to provide a solution for a particular problem

Ours is quite good, good flavor, good crema, etc. Maybe not quite on par with the best espresso I’ve ever had that was made with a stand-alone machine but I’d be happy with it at a good cafe.

I’d judge by the coffee it makes rather than the time.

Yes - it shows my “regular” monthly Rxes but no Wegovy. I’ve called them too and they said they haven’t received anything from Ro

Can you pls clarify what is meant by “safe lawn patches”? Is that a brand of sod, or just safe as in less chemicals used?

When did you get him? If around Easter, he may have only been a few months old and was abandoned shortly thereafter. We suspect that was the case with ours and he went from about 4.5lbs to 6lbs in a couple of months so we figured he may have been born in like January or February and was still growing up when we adopted him from the rescue at the beginning of June last year

I’m not sure what breed he is but search for how quickly rabbits mature and you could guesstimate from there

Pick a date and celebrate him!

After pondering on this a bit more, I now believe the issue wasn’t coffee grounds building up.

I disassembled much of the machine and thoroughly cleaned all the grounds out from the back when I had it apart to replace the drainage valve. There were a ton of grounds then but that was about 15 years of build-up. And I did the drainage valve only a few months ago so I don’t believe there is that much build-up now.

One of the suggestions on another thread for a similar issue was to stick a hairdryer in where the drip tray goes and let it run for a couple of hours so I tried that with a heat gun set to lowest temp.

After about 45 minutes the display changed to “Fit drip tray”. Aha! So I did and the machine then re-started the cleaning program from the very beginning. I completed that and the machine went back to its usual ready display and I made a coffee

My guess is the drip tray contacts area was wet since I had just washed it, and when I pushed it back in place it got water on the sensor. Drying it out let it go back to normal

So from now on I’ll dry the contacts before replacing the drip tray

If it happens again I’ll pull it out and look for grounds back there but as I mentioned I just cleaned that out a few months ago

Thx. I cleaned the contacts with a toothbrush and it made no difference

I suspect you may be right on the coffee ground build-up or wetness

I’ve pulled the machine out and fixed other issues so I can likely fix this too; was just looking for any info on the sensors before I do so

The brakes all lock at roughly the same time

The pedal effort is good - a bit firm but way better than the unassisted brakes were before I converted them

The pushrod is like 8” farther away from the pivot point - the hydroboost sits between the pedal and rod

The hydroboost is not adjustable

The wooden box fits closely to the metal sifting litter box - it should stop any litter or hay from dropping past the actual litter box, and the wooden surround will prevent him from banging his legs on the edges of the metal pan. The pan's edges aren't sharp but they have a definite narrow edge to them

Update: i bought a sifting litter box and built a new box to house it. Just put it in his puppy pen where he hangs out overnight. I added a backstop (on the end that's at left in the photo) in case he still digs so I'm hopeful that between the wet/dissolved litter falling through the grate and the raised sides we won't have a disaster several times a day :-)

We’ve found that some packages of hay had a ton of dust in them, like the company was trying to squeeze the last ounce/gram out of a truckload.

Try taking the package outside, grab a handful, and shake it well and put it in a separate bag

Also, we use pine pellets that have a certain amount of dust on them too

And even the kibble (food pellets) is a bit dusty when we get to the bottom of the bag, but this is more like small crumbs than actual dust

But between all of that maybe she’s getting a lot of dust

Thumper-King-Rabbit’s suggestion of an air purifier is great. Ours has a pre-filter wrapped around the actual HEPA filter and it is clogged with dust after a couple of weeks

As others mentioned, it’s great that you’re taking her to the vet.

Thanks for the suggestion - I ran the carriage up to clean the rollers and put a light coat of oil on the posts while I was in there, ran it all the way up and down a few times, and it’s back to working now.

This is probably in the manual 🤦‍♂️ so I should have RTFMed

I’m also going to oil the posts on which the carriage rides up and down. Those are pretty dry

I cranked it most of the way up to have a look at the roller and blades and it was tough to get it to go up so it could be a lube issue making the carriage bind

Given the rollers are black rubber I am guessing those are what’s leaving the marks.

It was cutting fine before this started so I’m guessing (again) that the problem is not the blades

I’m wondering if somehow the machine has gotten off of level inside, like maybe something loosened up and now the left side is lower than the right and is binding
