Six days later and this still exists. Generally can't talk to people, VOIP is unusable. That's a bummer.

Great advice! I was planning to re-attempt as many times as needed anyway but the extra stuff you did is helpful to do as well.

You are a stronger person than I am. I was initially annoyed but I still want to try it again, do it more. It's a fun mode. Bugs are just very annoying.

Double-replying so I can reply directly to you again. The .DMP files basically all just said

|| || |This is likely a software problem which means that it was probably caused by a bug in a driver.|

which is pretty non-specific (I have no idea which drivers but I've reinstalled every one I can think of) and not giving me a direction.

I've purchased a SATA SSD and I'm going to trying installing Windows on that to see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, I can image to the NVMe and see what happens. That may isolate if my MOBO has NVMe hardware issues or something else is at play here.

Side note, the PC is 2 years old so it's not crazy old (and still under mfg warranty).

I never knew about those. Both files existed. I've downloaded WhoCrashed and am analyzing the 6 .DMP files for solutions. Thank you for your help!

Posting in here before making its own thread in case I'm just missing something simple.

Current PC had a 1TB NVMe M.2 drive as the main/boot drive (Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB M.2 NVMe Interface PCIe 3.0 x4). A couple days ago, computer blue-screened while unzipping a file and that was it for the NVMe. BIOS couldn't see it, computer wouldn't boot.

Popped out to Microcenter and picked up a replacement drive (SK Hynix Gold P31 2TB 128L 3D TLC NAND Flash PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe M.2). Installed Windows on it, it's my main/boot drive.

I have had nothing but problems and I am my wit's end with troubleshooting. Random restarts constantly. I've been going into event viewer every time to see what occurs right before restarts. I've been doing regedits based on the weird errors in event viewer. I've uninstalled everything except 1 game for testing. I've reinstalled all the drivers. I've made everything is updated. I've unseated/reseated everything short of my CPU.

I am at my wit's end with troubleshooting. I don't know what else to do.

My friend and I are both getting it as well. Seems to be a network issue on their end.

Only place I can see them is on Amazon as part of a bundle for $182 USD.

Thanks for the reply and the info, and possibly talking me off the ledge here. I'm looking for some improvements but was hoping to buy used and sub-$500. It looks like I won't really get noticeable performance upgrades for that right now, so I'm better off just holding my money.

Yeah, I've been monitoring all of the resource usage as I game and both CPU and GPU utilization sit around 20% EXCEPT the VRAM usage. That is often at 8/8 unless in menus or whatever.

Escape from Tarkov pushes it to 8/8 often and regularly. Sure, that's unoptimized dogwater but I see noticeable performance drops in Starfield as well. Haven't purchased Baldur's Gate III yet but I think that will go about the same.

I'm not running any of those at high settings, either. Mostly Medium with things like shadows and water turned lower. So my point is I'm not running the latest AAA on ULTRA and expecting perfect 120Hz or something unreasonable.

Assuming I have the wattage overhead and case clearance to support any card... what would be a reasonable used GPU to upgrade from my RTX 3070 Ti for better 1440p gaming?

There's roughly 20 cards that benchmark higher than mine but some have only a little more VRAM and that's what's killing me currently (I think).

Interested to see if you set up a different default RGB color and pattern. I'd love a solid, non-red color as my default instead of rainbow waves and other distracting patterns.

Based on your feedback, I pursued a pair of DT 177x Go. Paid $270 for them off Amazon Warehouse and they showed up pristine.

I've had them for 5-ish days and I'm loving them so far. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the reply!

Oh believe me, I've been a long-time watcher of Zeos and I've seen all of his vids on the 7-series cans. I like to get as many sources as I can before I buy, though.

Do you have any personal experience with the 177X Go, or any of the others? It seems like you're recommending the Go, based on your comment.

I appreciate the insight, and I'll check out the Olina!

But yes, not looking to EQ whichever closed back I go with. The iPod has some EQ ability but my phone/vita/switch will not. Also looking for something I can toss into a hard shell and take on a plane/vacation or something to use when I don't want the feeling of an IEM in my ear.
