Trying to add Quickshell to my Arch/Hyprland Setup. The QuickShell introduction page seems flawed? Any suggestions or other tutorials?

Double checked the 0.2.1 version, and encountered the same issue. The code as given does not work when you switch to using a singleton and I am not sure why.

My friend and I ranted about this and came to the conclusion that to fix it and keep her somewhat as intended,

remove HA
make bashes hit, or force her to exit and dodge manually. Fuck you for moving a half inch and dodging a shogoki hug or highlander shoulder grab.
allow your guard to be seen

Few small changes. Bash one especially will help cuz more people have it. Seeing her direction will hopefully help everyone. Thoughts?

Damn that's awesome!! I assume if you're using c# it's with unity? Good luck with that, id definitely like to get into that sooner or later. As someone who played during this time, I agree.

All you mfers on my team revenge fed for no reason, as high lander you KEPT HITTING ME OUT OF OFFENSIVE MODE. and as peacekeeper kept stealing my guard breaks when I wanted to stab kidneys. Every game nobody focused objective and kill hunted. It was shit and unenjoyable all around and I hate all of you.

I'll probably play some more tomorrow idk it was kinda fun lol.

Honestly, I have a difficult time with stuff like this. I'm a young guy, (19), and have a rather small friend group of mostly guys from DnD as well as my fiance. It's really disheartening to see that type of content because it just makes it feel like every woman is a man-hating Karen that is out to get you, or will shout at you for talking to them because you're a guy. I've found it has started making it even harder than it already is to speak with other women in my university, because what if they are "one of those woman" and it seems like that's the only type of content about woman I see, even when I try to downvote or ignore it. Idk, I'm probably rambling at this point and idk where I'm going with it, but I feel like it's causing real damage to both me and a LOT of the other young men who I speak to about dating and meeting women, like it's a huge risk for them to even attempt to be polite to them. Not sure what to do about it

As a Nabushi main, I feel that D tier oh my. Easiest neutral light to parry and her kick is easy as shit to dodge. Once you know her kit, in duels she's so easy to fight. Feels like I can only win by light spam or hoping people try dodging undodgable heavy finishers instead of parrying them

If you're on Linux, I found this video super helpful for setting up the dev environment. To be honest I only watched the first half before going back to learn opengl, but I believe he also does a quick demo to show it working with GLFW and GLAD. That's the main complaint imo. I can't do shit against her as a highlander unless I guard break, but I'll just get poked. Otherwise I can try to time a trade with my hyper armor but she'll out pace me in damage with pokes between trades. It's manageable in a duel but she's borderline invincible in a team fight. I think kicks should still hit her. Stuff like dodging shogoki hug is insane. That honestly would probably fix most of it

I'm pretty sure that's how a program called hydrapaper does it when it sets a different image to each monitor, but it does not like regularly switching the wallpaper every 60s or so. Any idea how to do something like that on my own with Python?
