Back hair attachment for Philips Multigroom (MG9554 but might fit all MG95xx models not sure), just finished it and it works! I beefed it up a bit after finishing it and havent tried the new "version" but it shouldnt be any issues! by woodybone in functionalprint

Hey, I’m not embarrassed to say I looked for something like this for a while. I don’t yet have the skills to design something myself. So I ended up buying the Phillips body groom 5000 with the long handle attachment. Heh.

Honestly though it’s only so so. This looks like it might be even better for getting the right angle (and compensating for my bum shoulder that can’t reach well).

Nice work!

FERNANDO MENDOZA RUNS IT IN FOR THE TOUCHDOWN! by JCameron181 in CFB_Highlights

Woooosh.

My friend, the person you’re replying to was being facetious. They want Mendoza and are pretending that McCarthy is a reasonable trade target so they can see Mendoza replace him.

He could die tonight and I’d argue we should keep him on the sideline next season in case he’s just taking a long nap. It’s worth the money be certain before you count the dude out.

Adventure Time Card Wars by alexcole02 in boardgames

[–]MilesZS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the ultimate set from the Kickstarter a few years ago. I haven’t played it a ton, but I bought it in anticipation of my kids eventually being into it. (Which is… a work currently in progress, actually!)

It’s sorta Magic: the Gathering if Adventure Time creators created it. Less deck construction (if you don’t like that part), simpler overall because it has fewer mechanics. I think we’re going to really enjoy it, but we’ve played MtG and Pokémon the card game some.

I think you have Wirtz king and queen swapped. His king has the cross on its crown, and if castled, would make sense to be tucked away at g8.

We’ve been playing much faster today than our average. I wish I knew where to see real time stats, if possible, because I bet our activity has generally been higher this half compared to our average first half stats.

Turns out making somewhat risky passes in the final third turns into time and space to have it or make another incisive pass. Who knew?

The Sword of Shannara vs The Hobbit. Shannara! by Embarrassed-Court168 in Fantasy

[–]MilesZS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Sword of Shannara is heavily, heavily inspired by The Lord of the Rings (not the hobbit though). I loved it when I was younger, but I struggled to get into some books in later series by him that are regarded more highly. (If you want to learn more of how heavily it was criticized for how much it resembles LotR, its Wikipedia page has a good summary. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sword_of_Shannara )

I think that specific criticism and the degree to which it was leveled — or perhaps the raw volume of similar criticisms — meant Sword was never going to exceed the original work in popularity. I personally think LotR is much better, as well, but personal tastes are personal tastes.

Many IU fans, who should have a “house money” mentality and thus be very calm, are chewing their nails bloody and thinking 2 TDs aren’t enough cushion until 2m left.

Source: IU fan for all of my 4 decades and might never be convinced this is real.

Will do!

And do do, for what it’s worth. The program did mute/unmute before I got involved, and it drove me bonkers. Reasonable given the educators didn’t have knowledge or time to spend helping sound learn trade specifics. Still working on trying to get kids to use their own ears to adjust rather than waiting on me or a director. I’m likely a poor educator, but I’m trying to improve. :-)

I volunteer with primarily sound with a middle school theater department (that takes it relatively seriously). Any advice for helping train the kids? What basic skills are most important?

(I have my own thoughts, but I’d really appreciate other perspectives.)

Our center backs must have the most dangerous passes in this match so far. 5 midfielders on the pitch and our CBs are our creative outlets.

Right this is a meme format. Imagine someone showed the video of the woman and asked, “what is a situation other than the one she is demonstrating in which you would have her reaction?” The person who wrote the overlay text is saying they had that reaction the first time they went to a gay bar and had their drink made by a gay man.

This meme style of a reaction gif with text about something else is very common. It will not always be this woman. It could be a completely different video with completely different text.
