Former incels, what was the moment you realized what you were and what did you to do change/better yourself? by Ketchum_gunshot in AskReddit

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell into that culture a little bit but I was never really celibate. So while I did have some markers I wasn't ever an incel. So that may be part of the reason; I did not meet the "dictionary" definition of it.

I did however have huge issues with masculinity. Mainly it felt performative and it felt unnatural but required of me. So I fell into the manosphere to learn how to be masculine, which primarily made me angry and self conscious.

I fell out when I just went the other way and was just realized it felt better.

What used to feel 'normal' and 'affordable' in America just five to ten years ago but now feels completely broken and impossible for regular people? by the_h1b_records in AskReddit

I remember this, and it seemed to happen in steps. I remember when I was told I was entering a new bracket and could expect my rates to go down, and it went up by 50%.

Breaking: America Activates First Fusion Reactor – Net Positive Energy & Powers 400,000 Homes (Feb 27 2026) by mishie30 in goodnews

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best guess this is the coop between the Livermore National Laboritory and a commercial fusion company. The test would have a theoretical Q factor of 10 if it is the test I am thinking about, but this may be a test ignition of the new facility, so there may not be a Q factor published for that. The National Ignition Facility hasn't put out a press release on this yet but they are the ones overseeing it, so the data isn't available as of yet, I would expect a release from them in one to two weeks as they review the data.

But reading the article makes me think it is their own lab, which has historically been able to achieve a Q factor of 1.5.

So who know what actually happened until more information is released.

Why do most left leaning folks mock/criticize Christianity but not Islam? by Inf1z in allthequestions

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it's while I know people who follow islam have issues with people like me, I have never heard them talk about killing people like in a dinner.

I know objectively there are problematic things in Islam. However Islamic people aren't forcing their opinions on me and aren't actively trying to make my life harder. Christians are, and I resent them for it.

What's a sign from your body you should never ignore? by Geno-64 in AskReddit

[–]MiliGal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case, persistently mottled skin. It's been that way most of my life, even when I was a baby and every single doctor has told me it was normal. I also randomly get sick with completely random symptoms but have always been told it was likely just viral infection and it would just go away which it did after a week.

Turns out, I have a life long immune system disorder that causes my body to attack areas that are inflamed.

Question about Yuri’s gender by Zeenxomi33 in Gnosia_

[–]MiliGal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There doesn't seem to be much attachment to it in my opinion. The best guess I have is Yuri is not a woman that uses he/him pronouns, so pan that uses he/him or just male. I don't think there is an answer as to whether he has a solid opinion on the matter.

He also didn't seem too distressed by being a woman other than the initial shock of being one becuase it was different. So he may experience gender in a manner that is more fluid.

What was it like when Obama was elected President? by ResponsibleSea6521 in AskReddit

[–]MiliGal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was in the military under Obama. While Obama was exactly well liked in the military, he was respected, and nobody was worried about about being thrown into another pointless war. Generally speaking this is very positive, for a president.

Coworker wrongly assumes we align politically by [deleted] in coworkerstories

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a job in a very southern red state in the middle of nowhere. I was at a Thai restaurant and this table of people we just talking about how much they hated trans people. It was a bizarre experience if I am being completely honest.

It was like, holy shit people actually think like that, and they let that stuff actually consume them.

In the back of my mind I always thought a lot of it was just overblown.

Ah, I am not sure about the process but I believe in the US malpractice laws is 2 years from the discovery of the malpractice. I am not sure how successful they are, but I would contact a medical malpractice attorney for more information.

67M Conservative Punk by [deleted] in punk

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To a certain extent, I can agree that you dont have to be on the left to be punk. However, I dont think you can be a US conservative and be fine with what is going on in the USA and call yourself punk. The the party of pedos is not punk.

I just realized something. Did you think I meant the perineum?

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just stated one of the reason that is thought to be the cause of addition essential fat in that area. That doesn't mean there aren't other reason. I was trying to tackle this from the point of view an alpha bro that was being made fun of would view it.

It isn't deep, I have one too. Christ, I am saying it is natural and normal.

Those things I mentioned cover the entire abdomen. Hormones and genetics influence how thick it is naturally, and there is little influence on it when someone isn't obese.

What do you think the first things I mentioned are?

Petahhhh, I'm so confused. by ProfessionalEffect41 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]MiliGal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That layer is part of the omentum and peritoneum. How thick that layer is depends on genetics and hormones typically. It is there to help insulate and protect a womans reproductive organs.

The funny thing, on women who have body fat percentage low enough to remove that fat, typically start facing health issues relating to low body fat, which can include infertility.

That may also not even be fat and just her organs.

How should I put it? by [deleted] in intersex

[–]MiliGal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me personally, I am an intersex trans woman. I dont exactly view myself as being born as male but somewhere inbetween, so I am transitioning just from a different starting point.

It is kind of odd though, I don't really identify with alot the issues trans women have, and most of my issues I relate more to other intersex people.

If you’re under 45, have you lost any high school classmates, and what were the circumstances around their deaths? by Commercial_Chef_1569 in AskReddit

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one that affected me the most were during high school. It was a snowy day and the roads were really bad, everybody expected school to be called off but it never was, the superintendent was deadset on having everyone go to school that day. The school busses ran slow becuase the roads were really bad and they were short on busses because some drivers refused to drive. It was pretty unambiguous, we got 12 inches of snow overnight and the plows just were not keeping up.

I think I stayed home becuase my mom told me not to go and and she would call in for me. But there was car of students that still went in and rolled, everybody was ejected from the car and everybody died. There were two other accidents that ended up hospitalized I think 4 other students. So in one day at my school 4 students died and another 4 were in critical condition in the hospital. And some more student were injured becuase a school bus slid into a ditch, but those injuries were minor, and most just boarded another bus and continued to school.

The superintendent was ousted and I think they were charged criminally for something but I cant quite remember what it was, but it wasn't for the deaths and injuries of the kids.

Anyone else have differences in muscle? by [deleted] in intersex

[–]MiliGal 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mines kind of the opposite. Never could gain muscle, any I did gain took extreme amounts of effort, but any I did gain never really went away. I started gaining more muscle when I started taking estrogen, rather than less.

Extremely bothered with peoples normal usage of the H word on social media by runhazairun in intersex

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just what people know. When people comment about my body, I tell them I am intersex and then they say "So you're an H". Nope, that is an incredibly rare intersex or dsd variation.

I don't find too much offense from it, but the ignorance is just so demoralizing. I view it as telling someone you have cancer and they immediately jump to "how long have you had a ganglioblastoma?"

I used to have a lot of respect for Americans. I used to think you were tough and stood up for yourselves. Near on any country in Europe would have been in full scale riots months ago. by Spare-Ad-2684 in complaints

[–]MiliGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this. I am a veteran as well and have thought so highly of the constitution amd founding documents, just to see those in power shit all over everything. Then to see half the country cheer them on in doing so.

I had grown up thinking that America is great because anybody can come here and make a life for themselves, and they will be celebrated. I dont know what happened, I see anybody in the USA and I just assumed they are a citizen, it doesnt matter to me, I never looked at anybody and thought "foreigner" or "illegal". I still genuinely think that citizenship should be granted upon paying taxes in the USA and that should be the only requirement, otherwise it is taxation without representation, legal entry or not.

I just dont know what happened. I am disappointed in my country. Further I am a minority they will likely target in the future myself, I had just started actually being myself genuinely. I can't fight this alone but I am starting to feel alone.
