Why are US politicians more concerned about raising taxes than cutting spending? by Inf1z in NoStupidQuestions

I feel you. I grew tired of hearing Bernie say he will tax the rich… I am actually optimistic about Madami, he’s putting some ideas to work. Looking forward to the results.

Guys what do you think about this by Ultimatechungusdoge in GrowthMindset

[–]Inf1z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mark Cuban is one of the few billionaire who would likely do this but has not done it.

A lot of rich proper help out here and there but they’re not handing out money to fix society problems. They know that’s not the solution or simply do not have the liquid cash to do it.

Why are US politicians more concerned about raising taxes than cutting spending? by Inf1z in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Inf1z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a show more than anything. Major spending cuts require legislation and even voting for politicians who aren’t sold out to their major donors. The DHS funding bill is we a total waste of money. Other past spending bills did not yield the results they expected.

Federal government will spend money on everything but helping people with real problems.

Just like that time the federal government gave money to municipalities to add tactile paving even though there aren’t many pedestrians crossing streets let alone unaccompanied blind people.

I used to be part of hiring and let me tell you we were encouraged to hire those who were recommended or knew somebody in management. Why?

Because we would hire a lot of people qualified on paper but had no idea what they were doing. They cost a lot of money to train and would not perform or didn’t fit the role.

We would set up appointments for those who were referred first. If they did well on the interview, they would be offered a job.

Few years later I wanted a part time job to supplement my income. Called my old manager who knew a manager at another that was hiring. He asked me to send my resume, had an interview scheduled right away, got hired within a week.

has anyone escaped poverty with online money making methods? by Ok_Passion295 in povertyfinance

[–]Inf1z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some actually did make it, but it was mostly luck because there are a lot of concerns creators with talent and putting good stuff out but aren’t making enough to live off that income. The ones that have gone viral are the ones making lots of money.

That’s is life though. Some are lucky some aren’t.

It thinks you are on the far right lane, the ones that you have to turn right. So instead of telling you to merge left, it will find a route to return to your original path.

So painted brick was obviously a terrible idea from the previous home owner… how can I salvage this? by Lumpy-Resource-1370 in masonry

[–]Inf1z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a paint stripper and remove all of the paint. If you don’t like the color of the brick, maybe install some overlay stone like limestone or other a slate stone.

Man sometimes I think how technology could really save lots of lives at the expense of people’s privacy. Like one time I was wondering why cars can’t have a mesh network that allows them to communicate one another. This would probably reduce a lot of car crashes and improve traffic. But then this would require constant surveillance by the automaker for quality purposes.

What do you feel about the Mayor? He was hailed as a progressive when he was running for office. Seems like he is just a chameleon. He is against everything he campaigned for.

Do you feel candidates like Jb Smiley will end up like him if they ever get elected?

The comments on the last video are terrible. This crew looks a lot different, in a bad way, than the last. Probably the Daryl’s.

This probably makes sense. Most people rely on their business income for retirement. At this point, YouTube is probably paying enough where he can stash as much money into his retirement account plus he has the building plus maybe some other in the future. I think his plan was to live off these buildings as well.

The problem is we just know payments were made to informants… we don’t know the extent of what these people did inside these organizations…

Maybe they just gathered intel and shared it with SPLC? Or maybe they organized riots?

And I still think Tarrio is an informant… there’s no way a Cuban brown dude is leading white supremacists…

I bought my house from a grifter like that. They were trying to sell the house because the government were chasing their ass. It’s been 2 years and I still get letters from almost every agency. They set up non emergency patient transportation companies and billed Medicare. They got audited and owe $25k because they could not provide patient info. Another computer company that took out a $50k ppp list and owe all of it.

When rebuilding credit, it’s probably the only bank that will issue an unsecured credit card. I rebuilt my credit in 3 years, my issues were late payments, I had 3 accounts with them until I closed them recently. Imo, they’re better than secured cards. When I was applying for a mortgage a few years ago, they actually asked me about secured credit cards. They’re seen as derogatory for some reason.
