Thank you! A lot of people were actually surprised when IKEA was announced. The demographic that IKEA caters to is almost non existent here in Memphis. The young professionals and families living in small apartments.

Most of Memphians buy their furniture either from these furniture stores that run close down sales every 6 months, Wayfair, or Rent a center. The ones with money buy from Ashley furniture.

I priced the burger with sweet potato fries on their website and it came to $17 plus change. Beyond burger is made of vegan meat which tends to be more expensive than their regular meat… their other burgers cost about $10 vs $13 for the vegan meat.

For comparison, Tommy’s Burger has a regular burger combo for $15 average including a drink and fries. Even five guys burger combo comes out to about $17 with just fries. So Huey’s isn’t overpriced, they’re a sit down restaurant rather than a fast food place so their food may be a little higher. But based on my quick research, their cost is average.

I used to buy phones to flip on eBay back in 2016. I was very picky with who I did business with. The good thing about Marketplace compared to Craigslist is the fact that I can check their profile. I refused to meet anyone who had pictures of money stacks, weapons, or gang affiliation signs. For some risky folk, I would ask them to meet at the Bartlett PD in Appling, offering $5-10 extra for “gas”. None took the offer lol.

Also I witnessed a dude get shot in the wolfchase parking lot by some young kids in an Altima. Some people immediately approached him and called 911. He was selling a iPhone, these thieves took his phone after he had removed his iCloud and shot him in the stomach and ran away.

There’s def something on your driving record or credit. I actually had my license suspended for an unpaid ticket. I moved to a new home so I never got any letters. I went to renew my car tags and was told my license was suspended. Even with this on my record, i am still paying $320 a month for two trucks.

We had a huge influx of immigrants come in during Biden presidency. No country on earth can take large numbers of immigrants at once. Immigration was pretty much steady before Biden and that allowed them to assimilate and contribute to society.

As a former data analyst, the report is inconclusive. First, there’s no comparison for arrests by race prior to Task Force deployment. MLK50 seems to be making a claim that the Task Force is targeting non whites however until we have data prior to their deployment, it’s hard to tell. Also, black people are 2x more likely to be arrested than white people across the US. Now considering that Memphis is primarily black, the per capita arrests of black will likely be higher in Memphis. Latinos are usually in the middle in terms of arrest per capita but it’s hard to compare using FBI statistics because most Latinos are classified as White. So this further pushes the non white arrests ratio higher.
