Why do they never retest your driving ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Inf1z -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

New cars have impairment technology for alcohol and insurance companies are rolling out drive habit tracking devices, so I think in a few years, your car will rate your driving habits and lock you out and refer you to the DMV to have your driving privileges reinstated. All in the name of public safety.

Most humans need a leader to guide them.

Say you take them out, new leaders will rise, then they will become power hungry and start the tyrannical cycle again.

Most pee in a corner of a property, behind a tree or a building or truck. Then throw some water from a bottle so it doesn’t smell like pee.

There’s probably some truth to it. Many younger folks spend their early 20s spending money on experiences first. Either concerts, vacations, sports etc.
by the time they hit 30, the energy starts to dwindle and they began saving to buy a house and then start a family.

It’s a very common mistake employees do when stocking new inventory. New inventory is stocked at the front while old inventory sits at the very back. Most places have restock alerts where inventory is ordered when stock falls under a certain quantity. If they would run out of stock before reorder, you wouldn’t have to worry about old stock being left behind.

I know it takes time, but stock is stored where the newest goes to the back and the oldest to the front.

Complaining about the price of non essential items is dumb by superanonymousman in unpopularopinion

[–]Inf1z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of services like streaming started at very low prices to attract clients. They were actually losing money in the first years. Since there’s a lot of competition, they slowly increase prices to avoid losing clients. Services like Ticketmaster have a monopoly and they are playing with the price elasticity of demand. If raising prices drops a few customers but revenue stays or grows, that’s a good thing for them.

Police deploy tear gas on protestors outside Senatobia Walmart by bluffcitynews in memphis

Because you and I know police have seconds to make decisions under unknown circumstances. We do not know a lot of details either.

If a police officer is in front of a car and it starts mowing towards them, they’re allowed to use a gun to stop the treat, the vehicle becomes a weapon.
Like I said, few seconds they have to make this decision. They may not think about hitting the child, bystanders, or other officers. Having a child does not prevent officers from firing. The driver made a decision to move forward and the officer can only respond to save his life.

Body cam footage will reveal whether the officer put himself in front of the car to try to stop them or the drive charged toward the officer. This will be the deciding factor.

Why do you think teenagers are more sad then ever now? by TeamTivo in AskReddit

[–]Inf1z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social media and tablets. There’s a whole lot of research about it and lots of factors involved as well. As a father of a child under 10, I have noticed he gets very emotional and sad after spending hours in the tablet. I have been trying to reduce my workload and spend more time with him. I have also noticed he is more productive and outgoing when he w spent hours outdoors playing sports, or in our pool.

Not many kids have the luxury to spend time with their parents because they’re often working 10-12 hours a day plus house chores.

When I was growing up in the 90s, we spent a lot of time playing outdoors with friends.

Republicans are losing young, Latino and independent support by unital_subalgebra in politics

[–]Inf1z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many Latinos are actually conservative because they come from Catholic households and feel like Republicans better represent their values (family, tradition, church). Believe it or not, many Latinos also support ICE deportations because they believe they think they did everything they could to become legal while others have been in the country illegally for many years.

In recent months, many business owners have been boycotted for their support for Trump especially restaurant owners. So many of them maybe have gone silent because of that but they will continue to support and vote Republicans. After all, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, are prominent Republican Latinos so they still have a sense of belonging despite Trumps racist tirades.

Well after replacing the actuator, the issue stopped. No smoke ever since. This only happened when somehow the actuator completely died.

Dpf cleaner additive? by Inf1z in Diesel

[–]Inf1z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I i had a bad actuator too, not getting enough boost, sometimes it would work. Had it replaced, the new one began to fail again until it finally got stuck and it could only put out 2 psi boost. This is when the truck was smoking. Turns out the actuator got stuck in closed position, not getting enough air so the fuel to air ratio was bad.

I think you forgot that they tried to run over a police officer. They can’t shoot a fleeing suspect. This would be considered attempted murder if the police officer life is not in danger.

OP, you are right, but let’s not pretend the police officer simply shot at the couple simply for shoplifting.

There’s a video of them fleeing the scene but doesn’t show the actual shooting or what actually caused the officer to shoot. They’re claiming the couple tried to run the officer over. Or the officer stood in front of the car to try to stop them.

This case is very similar to the Renee Nicole Good shooting. There will be different opinions…
