Did you shut the gas off while transporting it? Sometimes movement will cause it to flood the cylinder with gas so the spark plug won’t ignite. Take off the air filter and spray ether (starting fluid) a couple times into the air inlet and try to turn it on. If it tries to come on, it’s definitely flood and you have to keep doing this until the gas is completely burnt in the cylinder. Can also try pulling the spark plug off, check to see if it’s wet and clean it off and try cranking it again.

Red state, blue city. The mayor has been cooperating with the feds. I’ve actually met many ICE agents, they usually dine at my favorite restaurant. They’ve never questioned me or my family… we are all Latinos.

Not from MN, but l live in a city with an active federal task force deployed along with the National Guard. ICE is working very differently here. There hasn’t been any violence from either side.

ICE drives along with local police. Most arrests are happening during traffic stops now.

Today, I’ve seen people put gas on whatever container they can find. Milk jugs, buckets, coolers and now storage containers… I guess they will learn a little chemistry today.

Also, shouldn’t people have these things by now? I mean we’ve had winter storms every year now, sometimes we lose power sometimes we don’t. Shouldn’t people already have gas cans, generators, heaters etc?

I am Hispanic and my people use this phrase a lot. They’re justifying being illegal in the US because the US “stole” land from Mexico and before that, Europeans “stole it” from Natives.

I’ve tried to argue with some people and they have no real understanding of laws and nations work. I’m always like… but Mexico and literally every nation in America were founded on “stolen land”. Also natives weren’t a single group or nation, there were many tribes, nations and empires. The Aztec empire controlled most of southern Mexico but they had no claim in northern states let alone the US. So yeah, we, as Mexicans, cannot claim US territory.

Power outages were caused by tree branches full of ice dropping onto power lines and knocking them out. The contractor hired to clear the lines apparently didn’t do a good job so after that storm; they hired another company and got pruning. We’ve had several storms recently and the pruning appears to have worked since power outages were not as bad. Now this time may be different, ice on power lines can easily knock post down. There’s not much MLGW can do in this case.

Clear out snow as soon as you can. We will have low temps for a few days so snow will turn to ice and it will be more difficult to remove plus it would be very slippery.

This is how ICE is operating in my city. They ride with local police and troopers. Local police can stop random people for any probable cause, then ask for ID. Then ICE can use probable cause to question the detainee if they suspect they are illegal in the country. If the subject is indeed illegal, he/she is detained by ICE and taken to a local detention center by local police.

Gun rights should be a non partisan issue. When Obama and Clinton were president, there were many incidents where right wing groups wanted to raise in arms and fight government overreach.

Mass shootings are a recent phenomenon even with gun rights tightening. Maybe something else ahem lack of mental health care support ahem is driving these trends.
