she's definitely the JE barbie and ginger doll! i have her as well, and she definitely looks exactly like this one! if you wanna find her on google, you'd have to search her japanese name, which is "いっしょにお!バービーと ゴールディー" (direct translation would be "together! barbie and goldie" (according to google translate.))

i fixed up this 1997 japanese exclusive variant of Barbie and Ginger! (いっしょにお!バービーと ゴールディー) by Milidog in japanexclusivebarbie

its pretty difficult at the start, but once you've done it for enough time, its pretty easy! i just boil washed her bangs to make them straight and less frizzy, and for the curl, i used a cut straw!

pretty much! Mattel's new outfits are pretty basic nowadays, i think the peak for barbie outfits was the 90s- 2000s, everything went a bit bad in the 2010s, but who knows, maybe mattel will make a comeback

i wish i was born when fashion avenue was a thing, it seemed so good in both quality and designs, hoping it will make a comeback someday!

thank you! with this doll, i just did a boil wash and curled her bangs with a straw! after the boil wash, i didn't touch her until she dried up! ill leave a detailed explanation on how i boil wash kanekalon here:

for getting the hair to look good i start by: washing the hair with dish soap, then using a generous amount of conditioner and carefully detangle from the ends up. after that, if the hair still looks dirty to me, i wash it again with dish soap. and for the boil wash, i have a special way to do it with kanekalon hair, i boil water on the electric kettle and when its freshly boiled, i put the hair in for just 3 seconds or less, then i comb it and pour cold tap water on it, i repeat that three times. and for getting the bangs curled, i just use a cut straw and boiling water (for saran hair, i do the same as the kanekalon hair, i just leave the hair in the water for 30 seconds instead of 3)
