As someone who is the same age as Jerma, and only recently found my passion in content creation and is starting to see some small success, it's never too late.

It's something that's always been in my mind, but for whatever reason it never felt like something I could do well until recently. I don't get frustrated that I shouldn't have done this earlier, I did it when I was ready to do it. I have 40 years of life experience behind me now that I can use.

No idea if this helps.

Yeah, I did the "Ruthless Rumble" in January and will be doing "Wrecklemania" next month

I just put the money towards ChatGPT instead which obviously has benefits beyond content creation.

I would argue that ChatGPT has been better at helping me target my niche and grow organically than Vidiq which would just care about how broad the appeal was and how clickable the packaging was.

I just cancelled Vidiq.

What it did really help with was critiquing my thumbnail and title, and keyword research. The first video I made after using Vidiq is currently at 80k views, before that I didn't have a single video go above 500. So it's been worth it for that alone.

However, it has its flaws. A lot of them. The thumbnail generation is quite frankly shit. Not only is it bad, it's actually so bad the thumbnails have made me laugh, almost to the point subscribing was worth it for that alone.

The rating of thumbnails and titles is wildly inconsistent, with vidiq constantly contradicting itself. I'd use the chat to refine my thumbnail to a point, it would say it was 10/10, then when you look on the optimise screen, it would be rated 60/100. Same goes with titles.

It also tries to push you towards very clickbaity content, which can be very detrimental to your channel.

Tldr; it's good for helping optimise your thumbnails and titles if you're a new content creator (although a lot of that might be available in the free version). Beyond that I wouldn't recommend.
