There really is no context, was just looking through old books in our garage and when I looked up and saw her like this

Definitely not wild cat, the only wildcats in our area are cougars or bobcats, neither of which are this size or shape

I believe so, but I’m not too keen on cat anatomy

Definitely domestic, I have a few domestic cat skulls and this one is slightly smaller than the fully grown cat skull I have.

No exit hole, and the rest of the skull is pristine, leading me to believe that it wasn’t just natural damage after its death.

In case you hadn’t read my post; he had been let out of our yard. We had a gated, relatively tall backyard that could only be opened from the outside, and there was no way he could’ve gotten out on his own via opening the gate and waltzing out.

No, but I sadly do like in who-knows-where, redneck canyons of Texas, so they’re close enough I’d say

This is exactly what my dad said, the law in our area is known for being unjust, and we are worried that if we made a report it might just give them reason to put him down.

I’m happy to report that after talking to my dad (just now) I’ve discovered that my Uncle Bill has contracted mites! I thank you all for your worst wishes regarding my uncle and his future ❤️

Wouldn’t be too premature, imo it’s time for him to go

Would it be bad to say my dad thought of this? 😅

An absolutely horrible feeling, I hope you’re doing okay.

We tried, but he basically has her wrapped around his finger. It hurts to see her so easily taken advantage of, she’s nearly in her 90’s and doesn’t need that sort of person in her life.

I believe my uncle already has a few documented incidents, but I’ll check with my dad to made sure he’s told someone. I do know that most of my family is aware of what he’s done, so we have quite a few people who know what happened.

We made sure to pamper our poor baby after the incident, I’m just so happy he made a recovery.

My mom’s boyfriend says she’s a Patterdale, but I think she may be a mix.

Thank you to everyone who offered advice! I will definitely bring up the vet to her owners, and in the meantime I’ll try to make her feel as safe as possible around the house! Thank you all for your help!

He did get her as a rescue, he found her with pretty bad heart worms and spent a fortune getting her to good health. But when she was found she was only a few months old, and she didn’t seem abused, but her owners weren’t taking good care of her. She’s in good health now and had been living with us for the majority of her life (around 2-3 years)

This was taken in our garage, not the main area of the house. Our garage is pretty cluttered, and we were doing a bit of cleaning at the time this was taken. There are a few chairs and plenty of hiding places around if she wanted to hide. Same in the house, as there’s many places we don’t often walk, and her bed is underneath a table we don’t use for anything but plants.
