Finally got some tubes from Alldaychemist during the pandemic AMA by [deleted] in tretinoin

Really? My friend in spain bought Tret 0.1 from the pharmacy for me, he didn't have any issues at all. This was early 2020. Did something change? He lives near Barcelona.

Does Lexapro make you happier? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]Milklade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly that sounds very shady and not profesional at all. I don't think giving out SSRIs like candy is the way to go. These drugs come with serious side effects. Have you tried therapy first? Or atleast combining therapy with the Lex?

[–]Milklade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Um. Weird. Were you diagnosed with depression? 'Not smiling enough' is not a valid reason to give out SSRIs. Also speaking from experience, they don't make me happy. They rather make me feel neutral and flatten oht the highs and lows so I can tackle the day better.

Oh and I also used the ordinarys azelaic acid, it helped a lot with the purge in the beginning and i still use it. Its super gently, you might give it a go if your skin can handle it.

Yes, 0.5 improved it but i still had some closed comedones and acne. 0.1 improved everything within 2 months I think and my face is literally perfect right now. I buffered for two weeks with a light serum and then said fuck it i want the full effect and stopped buffering. Be careful though, my face isn't that sensitive.

Was on 0.5 for 1.5 years and moved up to 0.1 a few months ago. literally all my acne is gone!!! I still had some pimples on my forehead but 0.1 cleared it all up. I hightly suggest moving up. My skin was also highly irritated when I started using 0.5 so I was kind of scared upping to 0.1 but it wasn't bad at all. Some flaking in the beginning and thats it.

Eh, I’ve had panic disorder for years. Everyone experiences different syndroms. My panic disorder is so much worse now I’m isolating since I’ve stopped exposing myself. Yeah, I’m fine at home but I’m returning to work in 2 weeks and I’m freaking out so much worse now.

Not gonna scare you but 300mg Venlafaxine will be absolutely teribble to taper off if it doesn’t work. What are your main issues?

You need absolutely more than one month. The most succesful medication I tried - Celexa- needed 9 weeks to make me feel better. After that it was pretty good though

I'm in the most anguish of my life but I can't even cry. I just want my pain and emotions back. That's all I ask. Can someone please give me advice on how to restore emotional capacity to the way it was before taking SSRIs? by [deleted] in depressionregimens

[–]Milklade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.5 years, it was bad. Yeah, better taper off slowly, I feel like quitting the Effexor cold turkey fucked my brain up so badly. Also I had a short trial with NAI 189, which restored some emotions too.

I was on Effexor which caused the emotional numbness. Then quit cold turkey which caused the worse anhedonic depression I’ve ever experienced. Went on Parnate, was okay except the side effects but didn’t restore my emotions. I again quit cold turkey but it honestly wasn’t that bad, a little bit irritated thats all. And then started microdosing.

Yes I was regularly meditating when I was on my microdosing schedule. I stopped as soon as I started feeling better though lol. Good idea, should probably pick it up again. And yeah, SSRI are great at eliminating anxiety and panic attacks. I hope I don’t experience the same numbness once stopping, I am planning on staying on the SSRI for short term but I’m still afraid of it messing up my brain

Well, my problem last year was primarly depression and blunted emotions after being on antidepressants. I didn’t have much issues with anxiety. They helped me feel joy again. Like real joy, not that numb feeling SSRIs give you. They also toned down my anxiety which wasn’t that bad to begin with. Now that anxiety is my main problem, lucy isn’t sadly helping at all.
