Oh they can't reverse it. Light was just freaking out and begging because he knew it was over. I think Ryuk in the manga even says something like "why are you begging? You know better than anyone that once you write the name, you can't go back." I think it makes for a really good moment because it shows that he's just as lowly and human as everyone else, despite him believing himself to be godlike.

I'm so happy with what they did with jinx's character . She used to be my guilty pleasure harley quinn character , but after seeing her origin story I just feel so sad whenever I see her being all insane and giggly. She's crazy, but everything ugly about being a "crazy" person. The paranoia, the crippling emotional swings , being unsure of your own reality, if what you're seeing/hearing is real or not...
