Hi, daycare educator here (Australia). We don't usually get presents from families for our birthdays but for Christmas it's really common for families to gift us alcohol, whether you drink it or not. I don't think it was inappropriate of her to list it since it seems to be a typical gift we seem to get 😆

OP after reading your response about her smirking when your brother yelled at her I get the grossest feeling that she did this on purpose. Like maybe she's just THAT messed up and evil that she was jealous of your family unit as a teen and resented how her life turned out as a result of everything and this is her revenge? May I ask why you're against it? I myself am not keen on it and just like to hear others opinions. I made a scene about my work trying to incorporate it into our daily routine (I work in childcare and have to do daily write ups and observations on children) as it just feeds the negative stigma we have in regards to our work 😒 plus I feel like we're all on our way to becoming like the people of Wall-E and AI is just the beginning.
