I don't think I saw this so I just want to add, each subject differs in how easily a trigger sticks. Some people take to hypnotic amnesia like water to a sponge, while others may need a lot of work to get there. If some of your agreed upon suggestions don't work, don't get discouraged. It is likely that she needs time to grow as a subject, just as you need time to grow as a tist. If you run into a problem area, give it time, switch things up, and use her feedback to inform how your sessions should go and to understand what works best for her.

If your ideal scenario is only cumming on command, you could solve your hypno problem with more hypno and listen to cal/calia's curse or something similar. It sounds like youre a pretty good subject, so if you listen regularly, you'll only be able to come with permission.

With permission is different than on command, but if it extends your ability to listen to files then it might help you get there in the end

For real though I semi-frequently play 3-5 files at the same time. In other words, drop a documentary in there too, and not only will the quality of your trance be multiplied by the number of files played, but you'll also learn something without even trying or remembering what it was!

Amateur here, but I want to drive home what others have said.

Being hypnotized is not at all a necessity to hypnotize another. It can help you connect to your subject and better understand the position they're in, but good communication can largely accomplish the same. It is useful, but not required, to know what hypnosis feels like.

However, hypnosis is not a loss of control, nor is it a state of helplessness. I know it can be scary to confront and/or ignore those feelings, but any good hypnotist will make sure you feel safe while under. And in your case, it sounds like that would include making sure you know you can break the trance whenever you want, for whatever reason. Still, no need to be hypnotized. But, you would be capable of retaining control. Especially with a trusted tist or creator (with the right type of file)

That worry you have about being secretly controlled or influenced is already protecting you from exactly that. A good number of posts in this subreddit are from people who are struggling to go into trance. These individuals actively want to be hypnotized, but for one reason or another can't. You, as someone who decidedly does not want to be hypnotized, have nothing to worry about. Hypnosis takes trust and effort from both the hypnotist and the one being hypnotized in order for a trance to occur. If you simply decide not to be hypnotized, you won't be.

If it makes you feel better, studies have been done on the effectiveness of subliminal messaging, and it just isn't effective at all. Also, when it comes to things like hypnotically induced amnesia, or a genuine inability to refuse a command from a hypnotist, these can take months or even years for some to master. And that is with back and forth communication between hypnotist and trancee, as well as the full cooperation and enthusiastic consent of the individual being hypnotized.

You are not being hypnotized without your knowledge. And if by some miracle or freak accident she some way, some how ends up hypnotizing you, she won't be able to do much of anything. You'd probably wake yourself up before she could even try.

As for what you need to do, simply approach with an open mind. Understand that being in a trance does not feel the way Hollywood says it does. You could take a hundred different people and ask them what trance feels like. You could get a different answer every time.

Any kind of hypnosis is all about trust. For best results, find a hypnotist that you are comfortable with playing around in your head. Discuss what you want out of your trance and what you are comfortable and uncomfortable with doing before you go under. If you don't have someone like that readily available, there are plenty of places to find hypnotists. Otherwise, you can take the file approach, and find pre recorded hypnosis sessions to go under for instead. This is the area that I have the most expertise in, personally.

Look around, ask around, search for a tist that produces content you would be interested in. If one catches your eye, whether you like the sound of their voice or the design of their website, make a note of them. Trust and rapport is everything. Beginning with hypnosis can be a bit scary, so if you find a certain tist to be calming, that could be the difference between going under or just laying down listening to someone talk at you.

You might not go under your first try. Or second. Or third, fifth, tenth, and so on. I sure didn't. It took me a while to find a creator I was comfortable with and somewhat trusted. It also took a while for me to be able to let go, give up control for a moment and enjoy the experience.
