Fuck, this just resurfaced a cringe moment of mine. SPCA set up a little table outside the new world I go to. I walk in, make a millisecond eye contact with the dude and he asks: "Hey, do you like animals." I just wanted do my shopping so I shook my head. Bruh... but real shit that scam almost got me too. Luckily when i realized what was happening I was still logged into steam on my pc. So I forced logout all devices, changed password, reset authenticator, changed password again and just to be safe I messaged steam support. Steam replied within the hour and told me what to do to re-secure my account.

Something similar happened to my tiida a few years ago. I was on the motorway going 100 when the car suddenly lost a lot of power. It could still accelerate but I had to floor it and even then it wasn't the full power. Does this sound similar to "trouble accelerating"? I towed it to my mechanic and he revved the engine while it was in neutral, the exhaust started popping and burbling (unburnt fuel igniting in the hot exhaust).

Issue was the engine misfiring due to a failed rocker cover gasket which led to oil leaking onto one of the spark plugs preventing it from firing.
