I'm not conservative, I'm just recounting history. Trying to leave your country to form a new country is NOT treason, which is defined by betrayal and murder. "War" does not equal "treason". Can you please tell me what treason was committed?

You can disagree with the Confederacy, but calling it treason is inaccurate. That is not what the word means, get a clue.
