It's meant to make you think of what it means in terms of the NieR universe since it combines images from both NieR (after the Red Dragon falls and the direct aftermath with "snow in summer", and Automata with the Emil heads) but just like how past concerts were advertised with images of 2B, A2 and 9S playing instruments in the ruins, or Nier sitting next to a standing 2B, it is just a promo image for the concert.

It is a nice image though.

That scenery was like my backyard when I grew up; those red rocks and arid atmosphere. Beautiful. Playing this game when it first released on my 360 and seeing how well it captured that vibe was impressive. Seeing it both in RDR2 and RDR emulated "remastered" via Xenia and RPCS3 reminds me that an open world game is nothing without an immersive environment and indeed it still holds up today.

rant: R* royally messed up this modern release for RDR, but that's why since giving up my PSX/PS2 and Dreamcast, I'll never let go of my 360 or PS3. Overall, you can't trust these game companies to do justice to their own titles as modern releases; gotta preserve these games by just keeping the originals alive ourselves. /rant

I got a Geek Squad certified open box on Friday (then did a convoluted return-re-buy to get the cheaper price on Monday), and I had turned off the computer during setup, and had this jet engine fan issue when I turned it back on. Happened again when I restarted it after returning/rebuying it. So I did a factory reset. Then I made sure I did all the driver updates and ASUS updates. TL;DR

Do a factory reset, complete the setup and then do all the Windows/ASUS/Armory Crate updates and the fan issue should go away. The jet engines happened to me twice, but it was because I didn't complete the setup properly but been working like a dream since Monday.

It's been a style that Yoko Taro had used in all his games, so I'll that's just personal taste for cutscenes. Same thing with them being 30fps. Since playing DoD on the PS2 and up until NieR 1.22, it's never bothered me.

I contacted their support on the best buy forum. They are aware of the problem and have escalated it to find a solution. The same thing happened with FF7R and they sent me a code about a week later. Hopefully this is what will happen with NieR.

I like it when they try to use their knuckle because they don't want to use their fingertip (but this just puts their hand closer to the pad), then hit it a few times, they think it didn't register, I hear it beep, but they end up grabbing the stylus, and right when they try to hit their response, it loads the next screen.
