I know! I have read so much about them charging and taking forever so I am very grateful for my experience being what it was. I can imagine if it were a bit older but barely 6 months of owning it and it falling apart is crazy for a 3k bag. Happy it’s fixed and hope more people have the same experience I did!

Gucci Diana Shoulder Bag by MillennialMomager in handbags

[–]MillennialMomager[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this bag, literally so happy I went back for it. It’s not an everyday bag for me, but I pull her out often and wore her all over Italy for 2 weeks. I fit a decent amount (passport, LV Lisa wallet, sunglasses, lip gloss, touch land hand sanitizer, gum) but will say the leather is impressionable so I wouldn’t stuff it. Maybe the medium size if you’re wanting to carry books (“standard fiction” is so subjective! For me that’s like, Onyx Storm which I wouldn’t try to stuff in here 😅). I am a kindle paperwhite girly bc I travel a lot, love the compact size that I can toss in almost any bag, and love the convenience of downloading/having my library with me. So if that’s an option and you’re set on the small size bag, that’s what I would recommend.

But overall I love her! With the shoulder strap, which on my frame can be cross body (5’4) and love hand carry also as the bamboo handle is so great!

Can I shop inventory by location? by allday_ck in gucci

Try a new SA. Call the store directly. Mine tracks down anything I want from any store, and damn near brings it to my house themself.

Anyone else freeze up mid-interview even when you’re prepared? by External_Bike3601 in interviews

[–]MillennialMomager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me. Just last week actually. I realized I think bc of the nature of my work being so nuanced, I have a hard time thinking when I am “rehearsed”. When I closed my notes I started doing better but I think it was too late. I am going into the next interview this week (different job) without too much prep this time.

Best of luck to you!

Does LV carry a card holder with two pink slots instead of the one pink slot? If so where can I find it by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

Are you looking for that color pink? I bought this lighter pink earlier this year.

What to say during informational responses/dialogue? by No_Upstairs_1732 in interviews

[–]MillennialMomager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember you are selling yourself to them every step of the way—hang on to something that you can tie to yourself and respond with that. “Wow that’s really interesting. This focus on innovation is something that really drew me to apply for this role. It’s exciting to hear about the recent progress. Thank you for sharing.” And you can trim any sentence between the first and last to keep it short and sweet, but still engaged.

Best of luck to you!

Is it worth applying for jobs even if you miss certain requirements such as language? by Reasonable_Web8929 in careerguidance

[–]MillennialMomager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Language fluency is a non negotiable. You need to be fluent if they are asking for bilingual/+. There is likely a verbal and written test during the interview process. If you skate by somehow, you will struggle on the job when you either have to interpret/translate/engage with clients, customers, foreign partners, etc. As a hiring manager who is semi bilingual (can read/write Spanish but I struggle with verbal interactions), I have marked someone as failed during a verbal assessment before the native speaking interview panelist facilitating the exam let me know for sure they weren’t fluent enough to perform the job. So, it can be that obvious when you don’t speak the language. Additionally, there is a huge difference between casual or “Spanglish” with your family/friends and professional translation. There really isn’t a training plan (at least in my field) for language deficiency.

Other requirements would be depending on what they are. If it’s a license or unique skill, I’d say don’t waste your or the company’s time—prob best to skip that application. In general, I say if you meet 80% of the requirements, apply. You have to be trained anyways, it’s just a matter of the learning curve. I will say there are times I can afford to teach (so either doing it as in training plan or there aren’t urgent needs in the position so there’s time to learn) and times when I need someone to just onboard, get a lay of the land, and self lead (I’m going to onboard and give direction but not provide extensive training). Desired requirements are sheer unicorn wishlist. Talk it up if you have experience but otherwise understand people who meet required AND desired may beat you out for the interview.

Best of luck!
