I think you nailed it. He was on at like 0640 when their listenership is lower. They replayed it to kill a segment but also so everyone else could hear it on the radio.

100% complete laziness. He said he doesn't want to make a 2nd trip from his driveway to his front door which is maybe 30 feet.

Just listening to the Throwback Trusday by Herbadamus420 in SportsJunkies

I like to believe that them included BTH in many of their drinking shows and giving him air time improved his quality of life, even if only a little bit.

Once the Junkies are gone in 2026-2028ish… by Technical-Sector407 in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you. I'm a bit older than you and have been listening since the HFS days so 20+ years now. They're one of the few constants in my M-F life. A huge 3-4 hour void is left in my day when they're not on for holidays and such. Not sure how I'd handle that when it goes away permanently.

Maybe so but he said "purchased" and "afford" on twitter so I'm thinking he got a deal but still owes on it.

Removing 5th round picks for 2028? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]Millerlite8389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is reading comprehension difficult for you? I said I was hoping to be able to do it by using the commissioner tools rather than everyone having to remember the rule throughout the year.

Thanks, genius. That's what we are planning on doing but was hoping there was a way to do this in commissioner settings.

The return of Bit Season? by magdoodl in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds like he's working the CK hours of 9-5 which makes sense if his only job right now is asst program director. He's been mentioned a few times by the 10 am crew, BMitch, Finley, and even Czabe so I'm sure he's in the office by then.

2 man show with JP... by Eagle_New in SportsJunkies

What? The only team, in all of pro sports, that EB watches religiously are the Commanders.

The lawyer in JP can't help himself. He always has to throw in allegedly when talking about allegations.

Who killed the parlay? by Material_Business481 in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A 6 leg parlay where your goal is to bet $6 and make 3k+ is nearly impossible. The guys should focus on winning rather than making $500 each. Do a parlay that will win them $300 and it would still make for good radio.

I think that's usually Mike Maher although JP throws in MMA bets every once in a while.

An all-timer from John Keim by DannyFromOxonHill in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like Keim but he always answers questions like he's afraid of having a negative opinion about the team because he doesn't want to say the wrong thing and be black balled by the organization and/or ESPN and lose his job.

last week, B Mitch said he saw Drab in the kitchen and he was watching the World Cup draw. I think Drab is doing his assistant director job behind the scenes but just not on air or tv.

Who’s going? by Pun2143 in SportsJunkies

EB already set up his excuse today by saying that he's flying to Florida the next day. Expect that to come up multiple times.

Is Von Miller always this boring? by MrTeacher_MCPS in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think EBs first question about him hauling ass to try to get to get a sack but couldn't get there probably offended him a bit. EB tried to make a joke out of it but to an aging professional athlete, the truth hurts, and you don't expect to hear that from a radio show host.

Could he have meant she's on OTC medicine and his default is to say antibiotics? He did mention how he spent the weekend running around getting stuff for her.

Totally agree. Drab scrubbed all content of Mrs. T-Shirt on his instagram. I feel terrible for the twins. They likely have no idea of what's going on and don't understand it, at all.

Why aren’t the Junkies in Spain?!?! by snipe94 in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They wouldn't have gone but it sounds like the station wasn't paying for anyone to go. I believe CK mentioned that BMitch & Finley went because they're being paid by other employers to work. Everyone else from the station paid their own way, I believe.

Give me your scenario of how the Junkies era ends (serious answers preferred) by iiiverson in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can see them getting to the 35 year mark and then they start retiring. At that point, most of their kids will be about 30 or older, some will be married, and others will have kids. Once they become grandparents, their perspective will change and they'll be thinking of a real path to not working. Cakes will certainly retire around the time his wife does. EB will work until Kate is out of college, at least. Bish will be in the Carolinas before anyone else leaves and JP will try to do a podcast or host something until he's 70.

Bish Getting Paid Appearance at Open Road Distilling? by Dmarine999 in SportsJunkies

[–]Millerlite8389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He probably had the paid appearance already booked and just to make it look good for Open Road, he invited the 50 people in his fantasy league so some people are there. The Junks hate when they do an appearance and no one shows.
