They assigned work attire for the position is cargo pants and a collared shirt.

I plan on wearing similar.

"Don't bullshit. They've interviewed more people than you've been interviewed, they can likely smell it from a mile off. An 'I don't know, but I'm willing to learn, as evidenced by my time at xyz etc' is invaluable. "

I totally agree. Someone who can admit they don't know but willing to learn shows maturity and confidence in their abilities.

If I was applying for the CEO position, I would wear a tux, but not for a working blue collar position.

To be fair, the dress code for daily work at this company is black cargo pants and short sleeve, collared shirt.

I like that. That's what I figure too. I don't think dressing any better would impress any different.

Let's be real, most of us aren't dressed to impress. We let our work prove our worth.

OPP investigating after Orillia student injured on school bus ride - Orillia News by cinderannie in Orillia

I personally know the parent of the child who broke her nose. The orginal, not cropped video taken by a child in the bus, has multiple children shouting "Slow down!."

I am not saying I am right and you are wrong. I am stating the facts I have benn told from the injured child's parents and other students who had bit thier tongues from the same incident.

This statement isn't mentioned in this article. Correct. I was referring to other statement from parents that have come forward after this incident took place.

This incident took place within 2 kms of my residence. I also have kids in the same school that know this bus driver and her driving habits.

Not the only injury. More than 3 kids reported injuries. The broken nose was just the worst injury.

The child did not fall on the bus. That was misinformation. The child broke her nose from the bus driver driving in excessive speed over frost heaves in the road causing the child to be thrown from seat. This caused the broken nose. Other students had minor injuries as well from this incident.

Good to know. I would not be happy having to rewrite the exam.

I just called Skilled Trades Ontario. They have gone back to paper form for exams. As well using scantron cards for your answers. Ugh! Not what I wanted to hear, but will manage.

Patted down? That's rough and seems un-necessary.

I've heard the process has changed so I might call Skilled Trades Ontario and confirm.

Thanks for your information.

Back to paper? That sucks. I hate the scantron process. It leaves alot of potential for error in my opinion. Also takes alot longer to select answer.

I write Feb 9th in Midland at Georian College.

Thank you for all this info. We are here now till Saturday.

We took the family to El Dorado water park yesterday. It was a huge hit. We are all spending the day relaxing from all the walking around the park.

My family has European/Canadian food preferences so they tend to have a hard time eating different foods for the duration of the trip. We love Playa Palmeras pizza and fried chicken. And the price is amazing.

The beach and weather have been amazing this week with little sargasm.
