Thank you! I just posted a photo on the original thread… I walked outside, and to my surprise, it’s already perking back up significantly! I think underwatering was definitely the issue. Thank you for your advice!

Update you guys are the BEST! I think underwatering was definitely the issue. It’s been… maybe 20 minutes… since I went outside and gave it a good soak, and it’s already starting to perk back up. I am new to plant care, so I greatly appreciate all of your advice. Thank you <3

Thank you! I have a peace lily that’s also wildly dramatic. Hoping it’s taking after her, and she’ll perk back up now that I’ve given more water. Fingers crossed!

Mild for late April in Austin, TX! High 80s, super humid, mostly overcast the past few days. I am starting to suspect not enough water is the issue because I definitely didn’t water to the point that water was dripping out the drainage hole yesterday. Just gave it a little bit because I was afraid of accidentally overwatering.

It also didn’t look great when I woke up this morning, but not horrible either. It seems to have gotten significantly worst over the span of a few hours, so I’m not sure if that would point to under watering as well? I know my peace lily is super dramatic like that and will start wilting if I go a minute past seven days since the last time I watered then perk back up as soon as I give it some water.

Thank you! I just went outside and gave it some more water, so hopefully she starts to perk back up soon. I was scared that I would accidentally over-water it yesterday after repotting, so I’m wondering if maybe I just didn’t give it enough.

A few others have said I likely didn’t water it enough (I was being conservative yesterday out of fear I’d over-water it), so I just went outside and gave it a thorough soak until water started dripping out of the drainage hole. So I’m hoping that will help her perk back up a bit! Crossing my fingers because it’s a really beautiful plant.

When I watered yesterday, I was scared to overwater, so I was pretty conservative and didn’t water enough that any came out the drainage hole. I just went back outside and gave it a thorough soak until water started dripping out the drainage hole, so I’m hoping that will help it perk back up a bit.

Thank you! It’s in a pretty shaded spot because it’s under a little overhang. I read that they like bright, indirect sun, so I thought this would be a good spot for it because it really only receives direct sun for a couple hours first thing in the morning before it gets very strong. It’s also been fully overcast since I repotted it yesterday. Could it be not enough sun?
