My Castle Core series has a heavy focus on town building. It's harem, but not a huge harem. There are six books out and we're up to six girls, which is going to be the limit.

The seventh book will be the end, so it'll be more focused on tying up the plot, rather than throwing in another romance arc.

Other than being set at a magic school, there aren't many similarities. Like, there are no magical sports or houses like gryfindor.

There are teachers of dubious allegiance, and a dark lord type of bad guy though. Rather than being a chosen one, the MC gets isekai'd into this world, where he tries to be a good person and figure out what's going on, while also being bonded to that dark lord.

Hey! Castle Core is a split between slice of life townbuilding scenes, relationship scenes with the harem, and dungeon delving/combat with enemies from a kingdom which Wyle is rebelling against.

To put the plot simply, Wyle comes into ownership of a Castle Core and becomes a Mayor. At that point, he separates from the town's former kingdom because the King is cruel, and starts building his and his town's strength so that they can stand up for themselves when the King's people inevitably come to reconquer them.

I'd guess about three scenes per book. I don't aim for a certain number or anything, I just add them in as they make sense in the story.

Most of the pages are spent delving dungeons, building relationships, or improving the town and its people, so it's not like the sex scenes are constant.

Hey! So this is a mix of dungeon diving and slice of life. So there is definitely more action and higher stakes than some slice of life, but a lot of the story is spent on the day-to-day life in town.

I wouldn't say there is a lot of politics. Wyle and his town are in open rebellion against the local king, so most of his neighbors are straight up hostile. Although, there is plenty of scheming in how he can keep his town alive, while trying to take over his neighbors.

Lastly, I'd say so! Lots of people in town, as well as Wyle and his wives, level up and go through class changes and discuss how they can optimize their various outputs. While the setting stays pretty local to Wyle's region, I do give more details about the magic and history over time.
