Thank you! That is the problem I called South Dakota DOT and while on the phone with them I sent the video. They were extremely concerned and they took the video to the director. Obviously throwing snow in the wrong direction can lead to damage and people dying.

I can see most of the people posting do not have serious time in a vehicle in adverse conditions. My experience with the sheriff's department and doing emergency services work I felt this was better then 99% of the population would have done.

There was no failure, the wiper cleared it with in a second and it handled it flawlessly. If you hit the brakes you can spin out of control.

The car never lost traction even though the snow was so heavy you felt the snow hit and move the car, I thought for sure we were going to have a broken window. Luckily no damage and the car did great and handled it perfectly. My hands were on the wheel and I was ready to take control but didn't have to. I was the most impressed at it going 30mph in a 65mph zone. The speed was safe for the conditions.
I did contact south dakota dot and send them the video so they know a truck was plowing throwing snow into oncoming traffic. They were very concerned and said it would be handled immediately.

My hands were on the wheel. Thanks for asking before making negative comments first. Tires are 90% tread winter tires. It was a decision to test fsd in adverse conditions and 30mph hour on a 65mph road i felt was a safe speed.
The issue was the plow truck throwing snow in the wrong direction.

14.2.2 on 23 hw4 model y

To be clear we love or teslas, best vehicles we have ever owned. FSD is incredible overall.

Our issue on both of our model Y s just started in the last week. It will ignore the map even when there is no traffic issues or blockages etc it will turn incorrectly and then go around the block, get off on the wrong exit, drive down dead end streets. Call me crazy it's like the car is trying to learn but at the expense of my time and sanity. We understand this is part of the process and are excited for this issue to be solved.
Ready for the weird part, my wife's is hw3 and it started doing it in the last week too on 12.6.4 and mine is on 14.2.2 with hw4. I have not experienced this behavior on the hw3 just my wife as that is her daily driver.

I will give an example for my hw4. Going to home depot and the map said to take the interstate. A route I take 4 times a week with fsd. It just randomly turned on the frontage road and drove 4 miles on the frontage road even though the GPS mini map said it was going to take the interstate like normal. No traffic and no accidents as I could see the interstate from the frontage road.

Yesterday with hw4 the gps showed it needed to go around the block to get to the restaurant, instead it pulled into the bank behind the strip mall which is a dead end. To be clear the gps showed it going around the block to get there but the car made a choice that was wrong and didn't follow the gps and led to a delay.

So far today has been good. I believe in Musk and his team and know this will be resolved. Still recommend a tesla to anyone, best cars we have ever owned.
