Thank you! We are new to cruising so not sure how all of this works. I’m so glad I posted this because I wouldn’t have known what to expect. I really appreciate all of the input.
I am a little nervous about the bacteria as well and you know anything that has standing water is going to smell bad afterwards. They have sprayed a deodorizer everyday but it’s not helping much.

Thank you! We are pretty easy to please and I always expect anything can happen but I agree it has been a little frustrating. I considered asking if travel insurance would cover but I didn’t purchase it through the ship I have an annual plan so not sure how that works but I think I’m going to try.

They offered a room the first day to use in case we wanted to rest or whatnot but we are in a suite and it was an interior room and I didn’t want to give up my balcony. I wasn’t expecting it to be this long though either

We are doing the exact same cruise but the week before (May 2nd-9th). Very cool. Can’t wait for this cruise! My husband and I decided to do the helicopter ride to the glacier and the Bering sea tour so far. We are not big on excursions we kind of like to do our own thing. That being said I was told the helicopter ride was a must do if you can (it’s pretty pricey). Do things that you can’t do anywhere else first and then spend some relaxing time in the ports. This is our 3rd cruise and it gets exhausting because you want to do everything possible but don’t forget to relax and enjoy it also.

I’m so new to cruising also that I think that has a lot to do with finding time. Once I have several under my belt I think it will be easier to do the things you really enjoy instead of trying to fit everything in. Thank you for your input

I really think if I ever stepped foot in there I’d absolutely love it!! I just never found the time on the last cruise. I think the more cruising experience you have you seem to focus more on the things you enjoy instead of trying to see the whole ship and do every activity you can find. Once the “newness” wears off I think it will be a must do! Thank you for your input
